Height 3'1"; Weight 33lb; Age 52 years old; Hair black; Eyes green - Talia has inky dark, spiky black hair with flashing green eyes. At first meeting, she seems cautious, but her emerald eyes hold a shrewd look. Talia tends to be impulsive, making quick decisions on the fly that are at times rash and instinctive. Luckily, Zeg tends to reel her back and knock some common sense into her before she gets into serious trouble.

Talia's History:
Talia's family came to Westcrown many years ago, when Antalia was just a young gnome. Itinerant traders, tinkers, and scavengers, they found a good life in Westcrown, slowly becoming indebted to the fading great houses of the city.
Then, one night, the Cainea family home was broken into by a gang of tieflings. Talia was able to hide as the tieflings rounded up her parents, but she had to watch as they cruelly eviscerated the couple. Then, suddenly, with a whoosh several shadow somethings came through the open window and carried everyone away into the night: parents, tieflings, everyone.
The horror and the anguish of the episode altered something within Talia. She might have been carried away too but for another shadowy creature which suddenly sprang into existence to protect her. Once alone, the creature put its arms around her, comforting the distraught gnome, and has been the young woman's constant companion ever since. This was her first encounter with Zeg, who is in some inexplicable way a shard of her own consciousness. Oddly enough, Talia has never made the connection between the shadow creatures of that dark night and the shadowy nature of her eidolon. Connection? There could be.

Zeg's Appearance:
Zeg looks like a shadow come to life, with inky black skin that appears to have no distinct edge, blurring into the surrounding shadows. Taut muscles indicate strength and dexterity, while sharp fangs and wicked claws indicate a predator of the night.
2 NPCs & Locations:
One of Talia's few "friends" is the owner of the House of the Badger, a gambling house. Badger, a retired dwarven rogue adventurer, took pity on Talia and took her in after seeing her wandering the streets. He fed and clothed her, and even though she is not interested in gambling she has found a home here. Talia and Zeg have sometimes been able to help with security, which pleases Talia as she sees it as a way to pay back the dwarf's kindness. The House of the Badger itself is a popular gambling den with a completely chaotic, twisting floorplan of gambling rooms, casinos, bars, and entertainments. I actually can't take credit for this, it is form a third party supplement and I thought the location description was great, always wanted to use it in a game. I'll give better details, once I can dig the book out of the moving boxes.
The other main location in Talia's life is her bolt hole, which is literally a hole in the wall. After Talia's parents died, her house was confiscated by the great families to cover debts, and Talia was forced to make a living on the streets. It is, really, just a hole, but to Talia it's home, in the ruins of an old bakery. She stays in here at night, to keep safe from the creatures of shadow, with Zeg for company.
Another character in Talia's life is Crindle Harklin, a young halfling man who also happens to be a summoner. Talia ran into him when they were both scavenging a ruined mansio, and the two struck up a quirky friendship, part kindred spirits and part rivalry. Over the time that she has known him, she still does not know if she can trust him, and one day suspects they might find each other on opposing sides. He has a cutting, sardonic sense of humor, and his eidolon is a slinky, weasely being named Rargus. Rargus and Zeg are likewise wary around each other.
