HISTORY: Anndra Arawan is a lesser noble, belonging to a sub-clan within House Garess which is one of the noble houses of Brevoy. His father was a warrior and a member of the city militia in the Garess city of Grayhaven. Growing up in Brevoy was a harsh childhood, but one suited for the warrior class as the political climate is always in a state of instability with the constant possibility of war between the regions of Issia and Rostland . Idolizing his father, Anndra made the decision early in his childhood to follow in his father’s footsteps and chose to become a great warrior. Being a member of House Garess, his clan had a close working relationship with Dwarves of the Golushkin Mountains, where a tradition was forged within the House for learning to work the metals that were mined by the Golka Dwarves and as a result he eventually became a blacksmith and armor smith initially for Grayhaven’s militia.
As Anndra became an adolescent, he started to learn the use of the blade under his father’s tutelage. By his 14th year he had gotten into a disagreement with a young Andori Swordlord who had insulted him. As is common in Brevoy culture, this insult to his honor was grounds for a fight to the death, resulting in his killing of the duelist. With Anndra’s establishment of being a formable warrior at such an early age his father gifted him with the admantian bastard sword that he carries now. By receiving this heirloom sword, he chose to devote himself to learning as if it were an extension of himself as he began following the path to become a Weapons Master.
Growing up, Anndra had several relationships which all failed for one reason or another, plus many of those who called themselves his friends turned their backs on him resulting in his lack of trust of people. As he grew into adulthood this lack of trust of others has made him not willing to have any relationships of any seriousness. This lack of emotional attachment to others shows in his desire to destroy his enemies on the field of battle. He is a firm believer of living his life by the blade, not relying on emotional connections and that his actions are meant to keep him alive as he gains in power. Additionally as the result of his lack of trust in others, he is not interested in helping others unless their goals help him out personally.
