Hello. I am currently trying to build my first PFS character (to play a couple scenarios at PaizoCon). So far, I am pretty sure I would like to make a human transmuter (enchantment and necromancy as opposition schools), and I was hoping to get a couple feat and spell suggestions from the experienced board members. I haven't played much in a long time, and I want to make sure I am a useful member of the group. For feats, I am thinking Toughness and Improved Initiative. And for prepared spells, I was thinking Mage Armor, Color Spray, and Magic Weapon. Do those sound like the right choices? Also, I plan to spend my starting cash on some alchemical splash items. Any other suggestions?
Not sure if this is the right place for this question. I am trying to find an unpainted miniature of a low-level skeletal wizard. I've looked through all my usual sources (Reaper, Otherworld, GW), but so far I am only finding lich miniatures that are far too well-equipped and elaborate. I know there lots of miniature enthusiasts on this board, so I thought I would see anyone had any suggestions. Thanks!
Hi all. I was thinking about miniatures I would like to see made for this line, and I thought it would be interesting to see what ideas others had. My abridged list is: 1. Sabina Merrin (specifically from the pic of her in Edge of Anarchy)
I would love to hear other ideas.
Hello. I have a couple of questions regarding this ability, and was hoping the smarties here could help me. 1. If I cast shocking grasp and hold the charge, can I make an attack using Hand of the Apprentice without canceling the charge? My initial thought is that a spell-like ability would cancel the charge as another spell would, but I could not find a definitive answer. 2. If I have a spell-storing quarterstaff and use Hand of the Apprentice to make a ranged attack with it, can I choose to target the opponent with the stored spell? The spell-storing property can only be added to melee weapons, but the description of the property doesn't specify that it must be used with a melee attack. Thanks for the help. I apologize if these questions should be obvious; I am still learning the rules.
Hello. My wife's sorcerer has saved and befriended the trapped firefoot fox from Hallow's Last Hope, and she is interested in making it her familiar. I am looking for suggestions for the bonus that a fox familiar would grant. I briefly considered a bonus to escape artist checks, but would rather give her something a bit more useful. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Hello. I am trying to create a new trait and wanted some advice to keep it balanced. Basically, it will provide a bonus to Knowledge Arcana checks, but only when the character has access to a fairly sizable library. I am not sure if +2 or +3 would be appropriate. The player is much more interested in flavor than the bonus, but I want to keep it in line with the other traits. Thanks a lot for your feedback. |
