Silver Crusade

I do not have the option to download session sheets for even 49,055. I had someone look it over and think I set it up correctly.

Silver Crusade 1/5

Thanks guys. I am looking into those now. Appreciate it.

Silver Crusade 1/5

Hello all. I am going to start GM'ing for PFS and was looking for some good scenarios to cut my teeth on. Any suggestions?

Silver Crusade 1/5

Congratulations. I will be at the convention (and yes, I am all signed up for my GM and player slots). Look forward to saying hello.

Silver Crusade

I did not consider the fact that my animal companion would be 2 levels higher with Theologian. Good point.

I was planning on using the level 3 fly spell granted by my domain for my flying. I was not aware that I could prepare it in a 4th level spot as well. Theologian is becoming less appealing. Think I may pick up the "good" domain and go ahead with boon companion.

I agree with you on the Wis based archery. It takes too much feat investment and my character would not be effective for many levels. I also don't want to multi-class at all so Dex seems to be the way to go.

Silver Crusade

So I am thinking about building a Ranged Cleric. My goal is to have a character which allows me to buff and heal the party while still having some fun with ranged attacks and a pet.

20 point build

Str 14
Dex 18 (+2 human bonus)
Con 10
Int 10
Wis 14
Cha 10

I will put my level 4 and level 8 bonuses into Wis. As a general rule I don't like to go below 10 on stats, but would listen to ideas about it.

Human Cleric
God: Erastil (composite longbow favored weapon)
Domain: Feather (great perception bonus, fly skill and fly spells, and a pet at level 4)
Archetype: Theologian (only 1 domain, but allows me to prepare domain spells in normal spell slots, and I want to be flying more than once a day. Also increases domain abilities by 2 levels)

Feats:
1st - Point-blank shot, precise shot
3rd - Rapid shot
5th - Boon Companion

Haven't planned out much after 5th, but at that point I see myself being a decent archer with a pet as strong as a druids.

Any advice for pets, or anything else?

Silver Crusade

Thanks all. I have tried to get my CHA up in some builds but that is tough with a dwarf. Also, I do plan on taking 1 level of fighter for the dwarven waraxe and heavy armor. I would love the selective channel but when I build for that I fear I will be ok at a few things but not really good at anything. I figure with the travel Domain I can get to whoever needs healing (40' if I have longstrider cast).

Silver Crusade

I am creating a cleric for Rise of the Runelords. I would like some feedback on what I have so far. I had another character with which I tried to be able to do too many things and ended up being good at nothing. The party is very squishy so I am focusing on Melee and still want to be able to heal when needed. The character will be a dwarf cleric of Desna. I picked Desna for RP purposes. It just seems to fit the campaign well and I want to have fun with that. I will use a shield and axe. I don't know much about the campaign other than there are a lot of giants and goblins. Other than that I would like to avoid spoilers.

Here are the stats. I tend to not like having a minus to any stats so kept them all at 10 or higher
STR 16
DEX 10
CON 16
INT 10
WIS 15
CHA 10

Feat: Improved initiative

Traits:
Student of faith (we all get 1 "free" trait from Rise of the Runelords)
Reactionary (+2 initiative)
Blooded (Dwarves of Galorian +1 damage against goblins, orcs, and giants)

Dwarf racial traits:
I traded Hardy for Spell resistance
I traded Hatred for Giant hunter

Cleric domains: Travel and Liberation

Thanks for any and all advice
