About Andlat
Being raised by dwarves is add for a non dwarf. Especially a family that revers Torag, though it does give one an interesting perspective. Dwarves believe that they were created by Torag when he forged the world, but when that teaching does not apply to you, you end up concentrating on Torags other teaching quite heavily.
Create, not destroy, Protect what is important, forgiveness is weakness, action defines you. These are the edicts Andlat grew up on, and in following these edicts, he found he had a special power, he could reach out to the creatures beyond this world.
Beings of great power, demigods, world spirits, and call them to him to his aid. One being even found interesting enough to tell Andlat his name.
Foradass, a tender of a great dark forest in a far away plane bound himself to Andlat, knowing of the dangers the boy would face, and knowing he would need help. In the form of a mighty serpent, Foradass seeks to help his companion and his brother, fight the evils of the worldwound.
