Anadjii stepped out of the Sunken Maiden, slightly tipsy from the vile tasting ail that she'd been drinking and adjusted the broad rimmed straw hat she wore. Her jaw ached from when that half Orc had almost taken her head off but the weight of silver in her purse made it worth while. Master Kurkikara would have disdained that she was earning silver by exploiting these skills of the Azure Dragon but he was dead and she was here. Monrakka would laugh.
Here feet felt the coolness of the puddle beneath her feet as she moved out and looked up, letting the heavy rain wash over her and reawaken her senses.
That moment of clarity came in sync with the sliding shadow that ran across the wall before her. Stepping to her left, she spun her hat across from her body as she turned to face the source. She sensed as much as she felt the impact as the three steel tipped darts that knocked it from her hands.
Bending at her knees, she spread her legs and wind milled her arms as her fingers contracted into the Tiger's claws. "If you would take me, you'll need to do better than that."
Gracefully stepping from the shadowed porch, her foe slipped forth as he drew forth two nunchuks that whirled a maze of energy about his body. "You are lucky Monrakka want's you alive otherwise you would already be dead."
Anadjii tumbled to her left, moving away from the wall of the inn, spinning free the chain attached to her Kama. The spinning weight of the kusarigama splattered the falling rain like an elemental umbrella. As the combatants circled each other the rain increased in force, drowning out all noise.
Lightning flashed and Anadjii charged her attacker. He stepped to his left as the chain flew out entangling the chain of one of the nunchuk. Anadjii, twisted and dived to the ground, wrapping the chain about her to supplement her weight and pulling him off-balance. He lost a step before he let go of his entangled weapon and tat caused his counter blow to go wide.
Rolling past him Anadjii rose to her feet, stepping in to block his back swing and lashing out with her shin to dislocate his knee. A scream slipped past his lip as he tumbled to the cobbled street.
Slipping back into the Tiger pose Anadjii raised her right hand, claw like high above her head. "Will you yield?
With a surge of energy he tried to rise to her feet only to be struck down in an explosion of blood as the tiger's claw raked across his face.
Anadjii took a moment to search his body for any clue as to Monrakka's where abouts but there were none. She considered for a moment, if they were here, they would be hunting her and she needed to get away. So far she had found no clues as to what happened to her brother.
