I think I am in the wrong place, I probably should have addressed it here, but I just put the question on the main board. I also posted alt. actions based on whether or not I am right or wrong. Let me know where I am, and all that. If necessary, I will move backwards to the bandit to trip him? Can I do that on a success?

Amme bluffed and jumped out to take the shortcut, I believe she passed both? I was trying to do the super shortcut option you explained below my first post. . .

"Of course you can, unless you do it badly. If you like we can return you to your bleeding to death state and leave, or, on the other hand, you could tell us ho sent you. I suppose we could also send an anonymous letter to Parani, a former member of the Pure Legion, and let her know about your failures and enclose a map to your family's home. Then again, you could just answer some questions, and we could ask or superiors to fake your death to get you out from under Parani. . . "

I over format my PFS sometimes. Check out the bard's sheet. I will make a Druid of indeterminate style. Bards and Druids rock in PFS because of the versatility, but the need focused types around them.. Huge team players.

It is rare that people would resort to such dastardly tactics especially when firing down into the public. They have no care for people, but you showed compassion. Amme checks each cloak carefully, checking to see if it the proper style, color, and bearing the proper insignia of the greycloaks. "Did I miss it, or did you tell us how many they were? Besides the archer my friends are investigating that is."
Once she has fully inspected, she hands them off to her allies. Once out of earshot of the Friar Amme suggests, "[b]Possible disguises never hurt anyone. Besides, we should rifle through them to see if the bandits may have left anything behind. Hidden pockets or anything.

Arriving at the alehouse with banner in hand everyone in 30' of me, please see the flag bearer spoiler below. .. Amme stands back, ready to assist any of her companions efforts. Flag Bearer: Benefit: As long as you hold your clan, house, or party’s flag, members of that allegiance within 30 feet who can see the flag (including yourself ) gain a +1 morale bonus on attack rolls, weapon damage rolls, and saving throws against fear and charm effects. You must hold the flag in one hand in order to grant this bonus. If the standard is taken by the enemy or destroyed, this bonus becomes a penalty, affecting all creatures that the bonus previously affected for 1 hour (or until you reclaim the lost flag).

Hypotheitical table conversation: Summoner: "Ugh, a crevasse. I hate chasms of all classifications, even canyons. They all seem to start with the letter C, which equally shares my wrath, except for cookies and conjuration! I summon a couple Large Air Elementals to carry us across for I also hate Climb Checks!" GM: Lets see... Large Air Elemental . . . Str 18, Dex 25, Con 16, Int 6, Wis 11, Cha 11. Quick consult of the tables. . . light load for 18 str is 100lbs or less. . . We have a dwarven cleric.. . nope. Starting weight is over 100. Human Wizard. . Nope, starting weight over 100. Well, looks like that gnome can get carried across anyway. "Well, you see, under Armor, I have this sentence. "Flying Mounts Cannot Wear Medium or Heavy Armor". Then, under Encumbrance I have this one . . "A medium or heavy load counts as medium or heavy armor for the purpose of abilities or skills that are restricted by armor." "Together they read that your Large Air Elementals (or Dire Bats) cannot carry you across. You are using them for a mount." Summoner: "But wait! Just twenty minutes ago we had the Epic Battle with the Air Elementals! They used turned itself into a whirlwind, and I quote:
The Large Elemental carried out Massively obese 274 lbs. half orc bloatmage wearing full plate, and packing 3 great swords and 10 large tents 100 feet straight up into the air, and then dropped him! We are still washing lymph out of our gear and clothing 3 days later from his massive explosion as he hit the ground! WTF!?!?!" GM: "Well you see, the attack is only limited by size, but . . you are trying to use it as a mount. . . so although normally it can carry you to any given height, because you are using it for this other purpose. . . Oh, I give up." |
