About Amir Akzeal
Amir the Keleshite, hails from the interior of the Diamond Empire. His tribe rules the Steppes of Yarkon. As a adolescent he stumbled across an assassination attempt on his tribal leader Usept. With surprise he managed to distract the Red Mantis, who turned and delivered a wicked slash to young Amir's face. The distraction however allowed Usept to gain the upper hand on the assassin, and dispatch the fiend. The Red Mantis gurgled a vow of revenge as he felt the grasp of Achaekek claim him.
Usept realizing that the assassins only kill for coin or for vendetta and since he had not slighted them in the past he knew that someone most likely from his tribe hired the assassin.
With the plot foiled the culprit soon revealed himself. Rez slipped away in the night.
As a reward for his actions Amir was presented with the weapons of the assassin, a fine stallion, and a mission to find Rez and return him for Sarenrea's justice.
