Female Humanish Bard 3

The young man's concern brought a smile to Ameei's lips. He really was quite a special man. Chasing after Sam, well it looked kinda fun and her dog instincts took over sometimes, Ameei stops him by giving him a big hug. "It's ok Sam. This little guy's a Tindertail. THey do that when they get excited. I guess he likes you."

Female Humanish Bard 3

Ameei coos a little over the dagger and begins to speak in a musical tongue. A short while later her eyes flash and glint blue. "Ooo that's quite a find. It's a magical dagger that's for sure. I think it also keeps you warm.. It looks like it's made from liquid fire."

Glancing up at Sam she smiles mischeviously. "Hmm i think you might be a little magical too."

Female Humanish Bard 3

Walking over Ameei crouches next to the body. "It's a hobbo.. Umm hobgoblin and i'm guessing as it wasn't killing the dogs that it's dead. There's not much I can really do about that and well in general they aren't very nice."

Initiative (1d20+3=8)

Ameei looks like she would move forward to stop the dogs but instead stays still and lets out an angry bark.

Female Humanish Bard 3

Following Todd's direction Ameei bounces in her seat and waves towards Redd and Iz. "Well i've met the lovely young lady. She was coming in as i was entering your world. From what i hear she's been here some time now. I think she's quite a fan of Redd's." Turning to Sam she grins, "I'm sure you'll love to meet her she knows some stories too."

Female Humanish Bard 3

Glancing around the group Ameei takes a deep breath and closes her eyes. "Ok i think we're best off heading this way. I can even get a slight.. well otherwordly scent so we shouldn't be too far behind. It looks like the tree was playing nice with time today."

Female Humanish Bard 3

Looking at Smith oddly Ameei shakes her head slowly. "That's not Grace that's a firetail. A cute little critter that lives in the woods around here." The adorable thing brightens her features as she watches it for a moment.

"Grace went off with an Elf so we're best off heading towards one of the nearest towns. It's in the other direction from where Clearbrook would be."

Female Humanish Bard 3

"Yup bard's are popular. I guess that's the same everywhere really and i expect that folk here like pretty much the same kind of songs. Love songs tend to go down well as do noble battles and adventure.. well those are my favourites anyway." She hums a few bars of a tune before speaking up once more. "I don't know exactly who Grace is with but I know the type. She'll be safe i'm sure. As for helping or hindering I think it will depend. I don't think many will care too much specifically but you'll be an oddity and that always produces strong responses." Giving the young man a quick hug she happily states, "But i'll look after you. Promise. So no need to fear too much on your quest."

Female Humanish Bard 3

"Her house? Why would she have a house here?" Ameei looks completely confused at this idea. "We're on my side not Clearbrook.. You know that right?" Shrugging off her suprise she glances around the clearing. It seemed like the fae were all making their way off. That should make things a little safer.

Female Humanish Bard 3

Dropping down to the floor with a hangdog expression the form of the Collie shimmers and Ameei stands up. She's looking kind of morose. "There's nothing wrong i just thought you might be more comfortable with me like that is all."

Female Humanish Bard 3

Sam was being quite frankly adorable and his blushing brought a smile to Ameei's face. She almost literally lit up. "Well i'm a bard. I love stories and the telling of them. I've been travelling around for the past few years just drifting really. Although that said I do tend to visit here quite often.. Is there anything in particular you'd like to know?"

Female Humanish Bard 3

Sitting up the collie nods a little a lets out a small sound a slight mix between a bark and a whine. It seems that the dog is far from happy.

Female Humanish Bard 3

"Pups.. Umm children are fun. You're very lucky Lyus.." His brief bit of information wasn't much but that in itself said a lot. Ameei assumed he was a man caught up in his family with little distraction. Still it didn't make that different a story to the bard. However Todd now he was a man with a history. His story and all it left out provoked a challange. Hmm insteresting.

"Now you sir are a mystery.. One i'll have to badger you into revealing at some point." She assures him with a grin. "So now we know a little more about each other.. Unless you really want to know about boring old me."

Female Humanish Bard 3

"People should always get food in exchange for good stories." Ameei agreed with vigor. "It's a common thing here for bards... Free food, drinks and a room for the night in exchange for a night of entertainment. So i now know more about the lovely Sam.. Well a little i'll have to badger you more later.. But what about the rest of you? If we're going to travel together we should know each other."

Female Humanish Bard 3

Listening with rapt attention to Sam's tale the young girl's teeth catch her lower lip in a frankly adorable look of concern. Leaning across she hugs Sam tightly for a little while before settling back into her original position. "Aww.. That's really great and i'm sure he'll be fine and when we've found your missing friend maybe we'll be able to find a way to show him the magic."

Female Humanish Bard 3

Concentrating first on what Sam says the young girl smiles fondly at the polite young man. "You're probably right in general.. Being respectful is usually the best.. But we're friends so you can be more familiar."

Turning her attention to the other's questions Ameei can't help but giggle at the rememberance of Lyus' question. "Oh yes the trees can move.. well some of them can but it is quite rare. Also there are many things that we might come across. Basically if you can think of anything from legend it's probably here somewhere. I even get suprised by what's here."

Pausing to have a little more of her drink the young lady looses herself in the tastyness of the dark drink. "Oh Sam you're da sounds very interesting.. Did he tell you lots of old stories?"

Female Humanish Bard 3

"Not Miss just Ameei.. I don't need titles and it sounds a little strange." she informs Sam with a fond smile. Keeping the young man and his friends waiting for a moment as she wolfs down another few mouthfulls of the great food the young woman takes the oppertunity to formulate a response.

"Well it depends... I'm pretty sure that we'll have to travel out of the woods and head towards one of the nearest settlements. Brightwater isn't too far away really and it's a mostly elven community so it's a good bet that's where they have gone. It should only take a few days to get there as long as the woods don't play too many games."

Female Humanish Bard 3

Looking at the young woodsman fondly the young girl gives him her most winning smile. "Of course not. It's good to see someone enjoy their food so much." Ripping into her own food Ameei herself indulges with gusto. Still she's careful to not let the blood from the rare meat cover her face. That wouldn't do at all.

"So you enjoying it?" Pulling her attention from the young man she remembers to take in the rest of the group. "Heh sorry. Hmm where are we going? I think it's best to track Grace because what i've heard might not be accurate.. I think it is but it would be best to make sure."

Female Humanish Bard 3

"Hmm etiquette... Never sleep with someone in public unless you're prepared to share. Not finishing drinks is a little frowned upon but feel free to pass them over and i'll help you with that, oh and don't insult people by going 'blerrrgh' if you don't like the food. There's some weird tastes catered for and the guests are allowed to indulge in whatever they fancy as long as it hurts noone that isn't willing." It appears that she would carry on but Sam's rapid consumption catches her attention and she sort of drifts off for a moment.

Female Humanish Bard 3

Picking up on Len's general mood Ameei steps futher back. Looking a little confused and more than a little hurt the small girl glances around for a moment. "If you all want to go back to the grill or stay here i'll just go and see about.. umm see if the door is likely to open soon... I'll see you later." With that she slips quickly from the room and heads down the stairs two at a time.

Female Humanish Bard 3

Moving closer to the concered man Ameei wraps her arms round Len in a loose hug. "You really are a sweet man" she says whilst resting her head against him. "I know you're all worried but it may be some time before I can help you home.. But we will find Grace I promise.. and that's not something i do lightly. But I really do mean it.. Having fun is never a bad thing and having traveled to another world myself it is easier to cope with the differences if you have an open heart to all you might experience."

Pulling back from the hug she smiles brightly up at the healer. "I even think that you might find miracles here if you search inside yourself for them.. But anyway i'm rambling.. You'll have to try and stop me from doing that dearthàir. But i'm sure the door will open soon and we can be off on the trail."

Female Humanish Bard 3

Slipping into a chair Ameei pulls Sam into a seat next to her and gestures for Paulus to sit on her other side. Turning to the waiter she matches his grin with a bright one of her own. "Hi Redd. Can I get meat.. Lots of meat.. Oh and my usual drink." Turning to the other's she motions them all to be seated.

"They do great drinks here.. Ask for anything and i'm sure Redd will leap at the chance to bring it for you." Settling back into her chair she purses her lips and looks thoughtfully at Sam.

Female Humanish Bard 3

"I'm here... and I am trying to be helpful. I don't control the door.. No-one does really and until then despite anything you might think the best course in my mind would be to relax and enjoy what's new." The small fae girl shrugs a little. "This world can be great fun if you let it... This place especially."

Female Humanish Bard 3

Pouting a little Ameei's tone is a little sulky. "Well I could but i'm often a lot more fun like this.. Unless you want me to walk on all fours.." Giggling a little the mercurial young lady seems to have moved on from her little sulk almost right away.

Female Humanish Bard 3

Listen check (1d20+6=15)

Not able to properly hear what it said between the two men Ameei still seems to catch a general tone and looks subdued and more than a little upset.

Female Humanish Bard 3

"You could try talking to him... I expect he might like you.. He tends to enjoy corrupting people. But I think he often comes here to relax and find a partner and may take that as a invitation." The thought manages to bring an almost hint of a smile to her features. Ameei seems on edge and upset by the way things are going although she seems more than willing to let Smith leave if he wishes.

"Still as I have said before I want to help you all as you seem lovely mostly.. But I have yet to have my apology and I have said I will answer no more questions till I do. I am a lady of my word afterall."

Female Humanish Bard 3

"You all wanted to come find her didn't you? Or was that just talk? I'm sorry but whilst I was trapped it was a little difficult to talk to you all about it." She sighed once more and takes a sip of her drink.

"And yes I do know what happens when you provoke a caged animal... Do you? Do you know what it's like to be caged and tortured? To have you're soul altered? Being in a good place with those you love.. Safe! That is not a cage." As she speaks there is a look of deep pain in her eyes.

"You asked questions and I am trying to answer them.. But you are welcome to walk out the door without me. But the door is closed at the moment. Blackthorn is probably upstairs.. He's in the same boat as the rest of us."

Female Humanish Bard 3

At Smith's outburst the usually smiling features of the young lady freeze and are replaced by a look of anger tinged with upset. "I suggest you sit back down before you make a fool of yourself. Getting shouty and angry won't help and may cost you you're only friend here on this side." Pushing back her own plate and drink she stands to get a better look at the man.

"We are not playing a game.. and judging everyone on a brief assesment is rude. I could look at you at the moment and decide that all of you are rude, impolite and violent. Something many would do." She sighes.

"Oh and to make sure you're completely aware.. I have dragged no one anywhere.. Oh and did you ever think that Grace may have wanted to come here? Or that she went with the Seelie because she wanted to? Or do you think so little of everyone that only your way can be right?"

Sitting back down she looks at the man. "I want to help you.. But I will not be demanded upon or threatened by anyone again. You'll only get my help if you sit down, apologise and open your mind. I know you're better than this outburst! Even the dark one that just left is polite enough to be civilised here or is he your better in that regard?" Looking up at him defiantly she opens her arms in invitation. "If you still wish to be violent start with me.. That way at least i'll be able to protect your friends and stop them from being judged from breaking the truce."

Female Humanish Bard 3

"Oh yeah.. you don't have them do you... Umm an elf is a long lived creature.. like a beautiful human with pointed ears.. they live a really long time and are quite magical.. There are two main types.. one of which can be very dangerous.." She pauses for a moment as she thinks on the matter for a while.

"Oh but Grace is with a Seelie one and that shouldn't be that dangerous.. Seelie is a faction over on this side.. They're all about order and structure and whilst that doesn't mean good.. pretty much all the Seelie Elves are good beings." As the small girl spoke she nodded to emphasise her point. Sipping a little more of her drink Ameei paused once more a slightly faraway look on her little face. Seeming a little subdued Ameei finally focused on the group again.

"As I said she should be fine.. I expect they'll keep her busy with questions on Clearbrook most of the time."

Female Humanish Bard 3

"I was exploring cos it's interesting to see what it's like in a world without magic and Clearbrook is kind of famous. But yes Abby you sweetheart you I was.. umm am the collie.." She pondered the rest of Abby's question for a moment with a thoughtful look on her small face.

"Hmmm I can do it because it's who I am but I might be able to.. hmmm no that probably wouldn't.. but maybe... hmmm.. I could probably work out a way to do it but we'd need some helpful people and some books and probably quite a while." With a slight grin she turns to Kai. "You on the other hand could possibly teach yourself if you really wanted... and Len might be able too as well if his God wishes."

Female Humanish Bard 3

Giving Len an affectionate smile Ameei shakes her head a little. "Nope I was exploring your side... The door opened whilst i was here in the grill and well it was an oppertunity to hear about that famed world of yours... It's been a few years since anyone has been across that I knew of so I thought.. Ameei girl if you don't get going and see what you can see then you'll miss your chance."

She looks round the assembled faces but soon returns her attention to Len. "Then I met you and you seemed lovely.. I recognised Grace from the description you gave so I thought i'd help you find her."

Female Humanish Bard 3

Ameei was about to answer Len's question when Kai has his sudden change of heart. Pouting a little she looks at the young man quite seriously. "Kai you are allowed to be you.. We will find Grace i'm sure of it.. even if we have to track down a diviner to help find her.. but at the moment we can't leave till the door opens and that's a random thing. You'll find it easier to deal with things if you give yourself a chance to relax... plus it's ok to have fun even in the midst of serious things." As she finishes her little speech Ameei gives Kai a little wink before turning her attention back to Len.

"I don't know a great deal but I saw Grace heading this way.. I just didn't know she'd made it through.. I was a little caught up in exploring. I spoke to someone though and she was here for an hour or so before leaving with a Seelie Elf. They're ok if you like law and order so we should be able to track them down." She shrugs her shoulders all the while looking a little uncomfortable. Brightening once more as the discussion of the bill comes up Ameei can't help but giggle a little.

"Oh Smith dear... Please try and relax a little.. You're God is with you and I can tell you're a lovely person but please try and relax a little. The world responds better with a smile and it might make you feel better too."

Female Humanish Bard 3

Ameei had sat quietly for a little while enjoying the drink and gaining some entertainment from watching her companions. Hee these people were fun! Still it would be rude to not answer the questions she'd been asked.

"Well now that people are settling in... Yep there is magic.. I can do a little myself but there is a whole world outside the door filled with people that are more gifted than I am.. Not just the Fae but we are kinda important I guess..." She shrugs off what could sound like a high opinion of her kind with a small chuckle that takes away the pretention.

"So questions... First my drink is Chocolate and cream and it's great! You can try some if you like but umm some of the other stuff in there you might not like... It has a tang to it." Lifting the glass she takes a small sip a happy smile on her pretty features.

"Right what else was there... I really should have a better memory by now... Oh the man over in the corner is Blackthorn.. He's very grumpy and kinda mad so I guess Smith and Kai and Abby might not want to annoy him.. Still he's ok here and won't do anything.. No one breaks the truce." Oddly for the first time the small young lady looks serious as she speaks the last sentence.

"As for the... well i would say real world but that might cause some upset.. You'll really have to see it for yourself. But i'm happy to guide you.. I did kinda bring you this far and whilst I may be flighty the lovely Len wanted to find Miss Clover and I promised to help him.. and be his friend to."

Female Humanish Bard 3

"Yup it's different sides... Our's is ummm well a little more magical.. You know in the actual sense." The tiny woman pauses for a moment lost in thought. Soon however the moment of quiet is broken as with a happy smile and a spring in her step she starts to lead them after the others.

"See this is a fae bar.. But at least there's a truce here so noone will cause problems... Mostly I think people will look at you all as oddities and leave it at that.."

Female Humanish Bard 3

Letting the nervous woman loose from the hug Ameei smiled softly. "Oh i'd love to give firm promises but i'll make sure that you'll head back.. Besides it's kind of the way things work around these parts. Miss Clover came through here but it appears that she went back out again before we arrived and the door closed..."

She looked a little nervous "Unfortunetly she didn't go back on your side but on our side. Still when the door's back i'm sure we can find her. I'll keep helping you all look."

Female Humanish Bard 3

The small brunette woman finally finishes up talking to the taller lady and turns her full attention and a dazzling smile to the confused gathering. "Hmmm I think that's it for people that are coming.. Yup it seems the door is closed." A look of slight annoyance crosses her elfin features.

"Oh well not much to do but get to know one another whilst we wait for the door to open. Then we can try and find Miss Clover.... Oh i'm Ameei by the way!" As she speaks the last she gives a small wave before bouncing over to Iz and giving her a quick hug. "Don't worry i'm sure you'll see that handsome man again soon!"
