Grrl Halfling Rogue
DM: Unless I have made friends with anyone during my travels, I'll return to where Almah and the rest are staying and confide in the cleric.
"I must thank you again for removing the brand. I hate to trouble you again, but I wanted to see if you have ever heard of my situation before, or might know someone who can help me."

"Guys, where'd you go?!? I think we've been poisoned," She screeches while swatting at the whispy things around her eyes. Amani grits her teeth and tries to figure out where this feeling is from...she knows it happened before, but those pesh times are a bit of a blur for her. "Da, comrade!" Amani shouts. "I feel like we're getting a bit bogged down with our loot...can we carry all this stuff? Maybe we should run back and drop off some stuff then come back?" I gotta see what I got and do some calculations...I'm pretty sure if Amani is carrying any portion of this, she's probably moving at 10ft or something Ugluk wrote: Ugluk says, "I say we take his head back to Alma as proof that we completed the mission. But first, there's more cave to explore. What do you say, comrades?"

Amani, glad to see her comrads are stable, moves to help finish off the last gnoll. With a growl, she shoots her arrow right at the gnoll's ugly face. CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC

Amani screeches, "DUST DIGGER IS BACK!! Someone needs to help out Tausa! I'll keep trying to take out some gnolls." Amani moves up a little to get a clear shot on Gnollbastard to the left. Amani's move: Amani is a little surprised to see Filliped zoom off like that. She thinks, "Man, I should really hop on his back next time."
Amani runs to get close enough to arrow, but alas, is a shortie. She readies her bow and shoots at closest gnoll to the left of Fil. recap: Today's Session:
After being ditched by the rest of the party, Shelon, Amani, and Taozu finish clearing out the monastery slaying a total of 1 scary spider, 7 pugwumpi, and their king. They search the unsearched places and declare it cleared for habitation. After reporting back to Almah, the caravan heads to the monastery to move in. The group sets up camp in one of the dorm-like rooms. Taozu buys the group a chest to hold our belongings and some of the loot we are unable to sell at this time is stashed away. A bit o' exploring outside happens and Amani & Taozu run into some goblins who eventually get that they can't win. Almah asks Shen, Amani, and Tao to go scout out the Kalmaran and see how we can start taking out the gnolls. Sadly, we find no knolls but an escaped prisoner, Philip, gets our attention and we bring him back to our caravan where he equips himself and joins us for our next scouting jaun. We rest up a bit (some of our fighting hurt like a b##~@) and head off to go fight a large snake we saw in a house. We make quick work of the snake then go to visit the harpy (Undrella) we saw the day before. Ready for a fight, the group is surprised to find the harpy is actually glad to see us. She asks for our help in killing her lover who is coincidentally the leader of the gnolls who is a possessed genie that killed the previous gnoll leader. In exchange for the snake's head (for stew) & a promise to let her live in peace after we drive the gnolls out, she gives us some keys, info, and Tao some soup. Philip took Shen aside and said she was there watching when he and his group was being tortured so those two come back inside and attack her. Amani & Tao, although not hostile towards the charismatic harpy, joins the mob and help Philip & Shen. As she tries to escape, the party kills her with Philip delivering the coup de grace.

Amani signals the group to come upstairs (assuming they were following in the first place). "Looks like the coast is clear...for now." Once she has a few more people upstairs, Amani goes to the antechamber. STEALTH 3d6 + 12 ⇒ (1, 4, 4) + 12 = 21 Perception 3d6 + 5 ⇒ (1, 2, 1) + 5 = 9

Amani's got no knowledge... Amani looks at the group and says, "I think I've had enough of this room. Let's go upstairs! I'll check it out." Amani proceeds upstairs as stealthily as possible. Stealth: 3d6 + 12 ⇒ (5, 2, 6) + 12 = 25

Main set of stairs are through the door and to our right...if you're referencing the map, we are heading to A19, which we have not explored yet. Aya has no problem with Redleg storing the goods and takes note of it for later $$ distribution. She continues on to A19 with, presumably, Redleg and anyone else who ventures forward. She will attempt to enter first and stealthily to make sure nobody else is there. STEALTH: 3d6 + 12 ⇒ (6, 6, 3) + 12 = 27 Once Amani arrives, if there is no danger, then perception: 3d6 + 5 ⇒ (6, 3, 6) + 5 = 20

Amani relates to the group that the armor looks pretty nice on the corpse - masterwork leather. Seeing as she is too small to wear it, she tells the group anyone medium size is welcome to it. He also has a dagger that Amani takes since her other daggers got destroyed by the Mugwompuses. Amani treks on ahead as the rest of the group presumably follows. perception check on new place: 3d6 + 5 ⇒ (1, 1, 3) + 5 = 10

Amani says, "Whoa, don't smash up stuff until we get the mace - it's worth a lot...like, nearly 2000 gold a lot. I'll add it to our tally of goods. Can someone tell if there's any magic or if the skeletons are going to attack us? I would not like that. :(" if anyone has a spell that senses undead or something, it might be a good time to use it

Although she disappeared for a while, a small figure deftly reappears in the group exclaiming that she found another treasure. Whether that treasure really was found, acquired, or stolen, you have no idea. Amani, your halfling companion, gleefully prances about injecting a little light in an otherwise dreary camel caravan. Is it the unending supply of sweets she seemingly inhales or is she still addicted to pesh, a more potent treat? Either way, her name is well known in town for being a slick little thief with a hunger for adventure. |
