Aloniori Ir'Nimi:

Aloniori (Alon to his friends) is a typical ginger haired dwarf - grooms his beard daily, enjoys the smell of molten metal in the morning and a good pipe smoke. He likes his ale with good food, loud boastful talk and women plump in the trunk with plenty of cushion up front. Repetitive swings of hammer on anvil isn't at the top of his list, but definitely in his top ten. Alon is more of a repetitive page turning kind of dwarf; hanging out at the eclectically magical library of Tar-Kazmukh. Lifting books, studying schematics, working formulae, or mixing chemicals (and ales) aren't just his hobbies. They are an obsession.

A month ago Nanna Bà'Sachadhi decided it was time for Alon to start getting serious about his studies. Putting her foot down on some of Alon's "late night study sessions" (read: Drinking sessions), the matriarch 'persuaded' her grandson to dust off his Draidh-Beatha, update his credentials and references then forward it to their adoptive Clan Tolorr in Highhelm. Being a good grandson, Alon dutifully did as he was told. He even got his friend, Rosha Coppervein (a Blue Warder), to include a glowing endorsement letter.

To his surprise, Alon was soon packing his bags and a week later joining a dusty caravan to Highhelm. To celebrate, Nanna Bà'Sachadhi threw him and the family a grand feast before tucking a few going away presents into Alon's pockets.

When Alon steps off the caravan trail and into HighHelm, his pale blue eyes take in the grandeur of the Citadel. Full beard freshly trimmed and sculpted, handlebar moustache waxed, Alon slings his backpack over his shoulder and practices his swagger for the ladies. A couple bulges in the pack are obviously books, but that can't be helped. Besides, the ladies are too busy eyeing the varying shades of dark green adorning his frame to notice, right? Dressed head to toe in tailored soft tooled leathers (featuring his favored embossed Triskele and double lightning bolts ZZ); pocketed vest and tight pants, brimmed hat and sheep-skin lined trench coat, do their best to compliment his stout frame. Spiked metal studs on the shoulders of his trench coat (decorative) catch the dim lighting as Alon navigates his way. The nickel tipped, pocket lined leather boots click softly on granite floors in time with the dark stripped wooden staff he carries in his right hand. A couple pouches hang from the wide tooled belt about his waist. Tucked into this is the end of a sling strap and opposite to this the sheath which holds his clan dagger. Other knives are within quick reach, but Alon doesn't believe he'll need those here.

Alon is a bookworm and a bit full of himself. He's taken the adage "girls love nerds" too seriously and traded social skills for knowledge and working on looking good.
