About Alganior

A human looking male with traces of the Elven race. Standing 5 feet 7 inches and weighing 139 pounds. Brown hair and blue eyes. Some facial scarring. 'Al' to his friends, he wears well worn and mended hunter's clothing, including an olive green great cloak and matching tri corner hat with a peacock feather.

Born to a woodsman and his wife in a hamlet nestled in a clearing of the Arthfell Forest in Andoran. As a young boy the settlement was attacked one night in a goblin raid where he lost both parents and was captured and tortured. Making his escape and hiding in a tree until the goblins moved on he survived for a length of time on the bounty of the forest.

A wandering ranger named Eustrich Longstrider found him and took him on his travels, teaching him much wilderness lore, the art of combat with blade and bow and the skill of carving bone into ornaments, toys and useful items like belt buckles, combs and clasps. The bone carvings were sold in towns visited by the pair.

Eventually they found themselves in Absalom and Al heard about the Pathfinder Society. Eustrich was ready for a more settled life and found a woman and started a market stall selling bone carvings among other useful items. Al was now 'of age' and looked into joining the Pathfinders to seek his fortune. For obvious reasons he joined the Andoran faction and was soon appointed to a venture captain.

His first quest found him on a ship bound for Oppara, capital of Taldor where he and his three new companions in arms were looking for a missing Pathfinder named Wuthers who was last seen in an opera house. During a performance the cast were replaced by zombies and all exits mysteriously locked. Many hard fights with the undead ensued, Al coming close to death on several occasions. They managed to prevail and defeated the evil worshipers and made their escape. Unfortunately Wuthers had become a zombie. Al was glad to leave the pompous Taldorans behind and return to Absolom to chronicle the adventure and recover from his wounds.

Al decided he needed some better gear now he had some gold and purchased a mighty masterwork composite bow tailored to his strength.

His venture captain then asked the group to investigate a school that sunk into the sea following an earthquake 10 years before. An underground complex was discovered - more undead including zombie bugbears, ghouls and a ghast! His scimitar was put to good use and the ghast ruler of the complex was defeated. Much treasure and a young girl student was found in a sarcophagus kept alive by a ring of sustenance. She was returned to her noble mother who showed little gratitude, such is the noble way. The Society was delighted with the mission success and the rewards were great.

Al again went shopping, finding a master weaponsmith in Absalom. He purchased a masterwork, cold iron scimitar, a silvered scimitar and a quiver of silver tipped arrows. The weaponsmith recommended an armourer and Al ordered a masterwork breastplate to be made while waiting for his next quest.
