Bryn: I did look those over and at first glance nothing really jumped out. Looking again now... Coordinated Attacks may have its use. (ignoring concealment) Fighting Spirit gives you a combat feat. Shout of Warning as you have mentioned could be of use. How often are folks flatfooted outside of a surprise round? Sphere of Influence has possibilities +1 to all checks of one ability score. looking at your skills Int, Wis, or Cha. Those are what stand out for me. Wanting to help the part is nice... but an extra feat... can be just as helpful.

I was afraid of that for Nathan. I would suggest if he wants the Risuri help that he request asylum. Which brings its own can of worms. An FYI... I am going to go with my bard, with a new character. Millicent Hargrave (with a likely dip in swashbuckler next level, but we will see. I considered that for 2nd level, but Versatile Performance kicks in for diplomacy and sense motive. And Eldritch Heritage for a familiar) While Alex was okay and all as a concept mechanically it is very different then what I am used to. Bard do have cure light wounds as well. So the wand we have can still be used by several people. Alexandra can be used with the campaign as GMFangur wishes (suggestion might be liaison with the Unseen Court... or transferred away which ever works away.)

The character would be big on support with skills/knowledge/buffs that an Investigator cannot really provide and some more magics. I have played more bards than investigators. What is in the Player's killed a fey titan and founded Risur. Risur pays tribute to the Unssen Court for some deal that King Kelland made with them at Risur's founding. Someone with Knowledge (History) might get more. Alex's reasoning though, she is respecting the Fey, really if this guy is as bad ass as portrayed, do we really have a choice in what does or does not do? He kills the duchess and we slay/wound I think we loose more there than he would. Not to mention she is NG... so wanting to know the real facts... She could have information, yet used it the wrong way. As for Nathan... we have been asked to bring him back as well... of course by Danor (the Minster that is). Not to mention he appears to know only what he has seen in the last little bit and not a part of the bigger picture... but that is just a guess at present. I am game to ask for him as well. In the end... a much bigger picture appears to happening that we do not know... and I want to know... :)

Alex looks to Alsah and can tell that she seems to have a hostility towards this man. From her earlier comment there may be merit in the dislike, yet, was this man involved? The last war was a messy affair, on both sides. And as much as it is hard to admit, Risiur people did invade their home here as well. But she asked how they could help prove themselves, and the good Lieutenant had an answer. With a curt nod she turns and approached the soldiers watching over this compound and relayed her request to acquire the weapons that the Lieutenant asked for. Round 8 - Outside to Inside Lighthouse The woman attempts to climb the wall but is unable. She quickly moves about searching for rope and finds a coil closer to the docks. She makes her return to the lighthouse and with Bryn’s help, a few attempts, she is able to toss the rope into his reach. The man secures it to the top and with the Duchess’ forces advancing climbs up the side of the lighthouse with renewed vigor and a bit of fear being caught outside. Clambering over the top the woman drops and carches her breath a moment before she starts to hail the rope up behind her. Thanks Bryn. Alex says between heavy breaths.

It would appear that no one has rope, unless I missed it on character sheets. With no way into the lighthouse, as it is now barricaded (and rightly so!) two options remain. Climb up and into the lighthouse (+0 or +4 if counted as docks) or take cover within the water and head into the harbour out of range of baddies. Is it easy to get down to the shore, I recall on the map there is a boat there and all. Alex was a sailor?
