Liberty's Edge 4/5 5/5 **

I am posting here on behalf of my friend who is new to organized play. For his first PFS character he's going to run an undead lord cleric, but he is unsure of what to do about the corpse companion since it can only be a 1hd creature(which from what he sees means he can only make a skeleton at this point), so for PFS play can he pick any 1HD creature from the beastiary to become his inital corpse companion?

Well the original concept was for him to be sort of a exorcist in a sense for when a demon shows up in the Empire, but also he works with devils. Again I was originally basing thus all off the little description in the Chelaxian pathfinder companion about wizards in Empire but I was also intrigued by the concept of playing a this kind of character after playing a particular pathfinder mod where demonology was mentioned.

Set though pretty much pegged it cause in an essence that was what I was visualizing, binding a demon to perform a task on behalf of Hell or else suffer until it submits.

Well the way this demonologist was going to work is more like a caster that controls/enslaves demons. In the Cheliax book it did mention in the class section said that wizards are respected for their ability to make deals with devils and banishing demons. With this character being a Chelixian and very full of himself he'd greatly enjoys controlling demons to perform the tasks for an empire of devils...what a better dig on demons than that?

Liberty's Edge

I have been mulling around with a character concept after playing at a con a week ago, a Chelaxian Demonologist and I am not sure what to start him as. At first I was going with a wizard with focus in abjuration since most spells that fit a demonologist but also some of the same spells are on the clerics spell list. So right now I am fairly torn how to build him and if anyone has some suggestions feel free to post your thoughts.

In a up coming session for my homebrewed campaign the players will be fighting the "boss" in a shrine which use to belong to a LG god but has been tainted by a cleric of a NE god. Now I was curious how exactly consecrate would work here being that there would altars and other symbols of the LG god but of course they have been defaced.

Would the initial effect of the spell go in in this situation or would the secondary one go on, and what exactly does it mean to have this connection severed to his NE god. Does the previous mentioned cleric lose his ability to cast his spells or what?
