Description: A slim, willowy elf of average height and fey beauty, Alarien possesses a chin-length layered bob of straight platinum hair and lightly tanned skin, with eyes swallowed up by pools of deep, almost blackish blue. Her frame is lean and athletic, with a build appropriate to a martial artist or warrior-monk. She is usually clad in leather boots and a minidress-length red kimono held together with a similarly-dyed obi. For armor, a leather lamellar shoulderguard on her right shoulder complements leather lamellar bracers and a haramaki of leather lamellar that covers her abdomen.
A short bow and quiver of arrows are slung over her back. A paired katana and wakizashi rest in scabbards on her right hip; the katana is finely-crafted, and bears the Elven inscription, "Nan Alarien, immo yaisa o tamin ovéa Menel-tir o Alatril": 'My name is Alarien, of the same steel and temper as Menel-tir and Alatril.'
Background: Alarien Amankiir is the daughter of Natyien Amankiir, an elven swordmaiden who is herself the daughter of a well-known elven warrior-monk named Thyloran Amankiir. Raised in her grandfather's monastery compound in the far-eastern elven nation of Jinin, she excelled at the school's teachings. Named for her mother's signature blade, Alarien, the Maiden of Fortune, she was gifted that same blade at a young age and in time came to wield it as an extension of her own will. As she came of age, the time came to journey into the world, to test herself, to learn of the world beyond Jinin and to overcome whatever challenges the world had to offer. Taking the advice of her far-traveling mother and grandfather, who had been traveling companions of Pathfinder field agents in their respective youths, she set out for Absalom and the Pathfinder Society.

Boons and Vanities: Kassen's Blessing: You carry a small charm from the spirit of Kassen. You may reroll a single attack roll, saving throw, or skill check after the roll is made but before the results are revealed. You must take the result of the second roll, even if it is worse. Once this ability has been used, cross it off the Chronicle.
Inside Connection: You are familiar with the cult of Razmir and receive a +2 bonus on all Charisma-based skill checks against the faithful of Razmir.
Stolen Deeds: You have recovered several deeds from the Razmiran stronghold. If you kept them for yourself, you find that having the paperwork makes securing the stolen properties easier. If you instead did what you could to return them to their proper owners, you develop a reputation as being a good neighbor. Either way, purchasing any property in Absalom costs 1 less PP than normal (minimum 1).
