Background Traits:

Blood of Pharaohs: Long ago, one of your ancestors ruled over the lands ofOsirion. Although you are many generations removed and the line of descent is hard to prove, his or her blood still runs in your veins. Perhaps you may find some proof of your lineage in the tombs of Wati's necropolis. You gain a +1 trait bonus on Will saves. You also gain a +1 trait bonus on Knowledge (nobility) checks and that skill is always a class skill for you. In addition, you may choose Ancient Osiriani as one of your bonus languages.

Charming: Blessed with good looks, you've come to depend on the fact that others find you attractive. Benefit: You gain a +1 trait bonus when you use Bluff or Diplomacy on a character that is (or could be) sexually attracted to you, and a +1 trait bonus to the save DC of any language-dependent spell you cast on such characters or creatures.

Flame of the Dawnflower: You have been raised to view yourself as a blade in the service of the Goddess of the Sun, or you have taken on that duty for yourself. Benefit: Whenever you score a critical hit with a scimitar, you deal 2 additional points of fire damage to your target.

Appearance:
Ai'sha is a beautiful red-haired woman; she protects her pale skin from the warm sun by wearing a white tunic over her armor and covers her face with a veil that shows only her black eyes, as much as she would like to feel the warm touch of Sarenrae, she learned early in life that her skin burns easily.

Personality:
Ai'sha is kindhearted, polite and understanding, as she was taught to be by the church of Sarenrae. She has, however, many insecurities about herself, and masks this by sometimes acting in arrogant ways, she never admits that someone is better than her at something she believes herself to be good and might criticize other people as a way to affirm her self-worth, in this sense she is also easy to provoke and will do anything to prove her value without thinking twice.

Background:
Ai'sha was raised in a temple of Sarenrae by many different priests, although she always had a special bond with a retired paladin called Ishaq, who trained those that wanted to fight for the goddess of the sun. Ai'sha's parentage was unclear, but her red hair and pale skin made it an easy guess that she was likely a daughter from one of the Ulfen traders or sellswords that would often travel to Qadira. Her mother gave birth to her at the very temple she was raised in and died in the process.

Ai'sha started her dervish training from a very early age and showed a natural aptitude for it, she would often outperform her training colleagues and receive compliments during training, this wasn't always well received and a quick way for the jealous among them to undermine her accomplishments was to point out that she was probably the product of some village plundering, these types of comments made Ai'sha depressed and obsessed with her parentage, and she would make up stories about her father being a jarl or her parents risking their lifes for a forbidden love; this obsession would lead her to study about history and nobility, trying to find any clue that would help her believe in her own stories.

All the apprentices would eventually grow up and the petty rivalry between them would subside, Ai'sha forgot her obsession with her parents' identity until, at the end of her training, Ishaq gifted her with a small necklace depicting a scarab, said to be one of the possessions left by her mother; Ai'sha immediately found that scarab strangely familiar and, upon research, found it to be the emblem of an old Osiriani pharaonic bloodline. At this moment she knew she couldn't go on without trying once again to find out where she came from.

The news of another burial site being opened in Osirion brought Ai'sha to Wati. On the way, she noticed how ill-equipped to do this journey she really was; yes, she was a good dancer and sword fighter, but that wouldn't be enough in the desert, and so she decided to find a party, she needed help. Meanwhile, her old self-esteem problem started creeping up again...

Character Growth:
Ai'sha never had the best self-esteem growing up, and going from the temple of Sarenrae where she was the best apprentice into the real world where she is clearly inexperienced and ill-equipped has made it worse. She starts out being eager to prove herself at best and arrogant at worse (kinda like a less extreme version of another famous redhead out there...) but should become more confident over time, as well as learn that she can't do everything by herself and there is nothing wrong in trusting her allies.

From a mechanics standpoint, while she is by no means a liability and can hold her own, she also lacks some common essential equipment and skills for any adventurer; she will pick those up over time as she learns from her teammates as well as develop her own strengths as a secondary striker, healer, and possibly face.
