Looking for a full group for a new Wednesday Night 2e or 3.5 campaign. As I am starting a new group, I'll let the players decide which system they prefer. I am looking for at least 4 players, preferably 5 or 6. I will be using a laptop for reference, but not for dice rolls. Players are welcome to bring laptops in place of hardcovers, provided it doesn't become an issue. No drugs, no pot, beer is welcome (in moderation). Longer sessions preferred (5-8 hours). Would prefer to start early (between noon and 3) and end around 9 so we don't keep my daughter up.
Reply with preferred edition, race/class combination, age(I won't preclude anyone based on age, but I'd prefer if everyone were at least 18), and any other information you believe pertinent.

I just moved to the East Bay from Ohio and I'm looking for a group to play with or DM for(I prefer to DM).
As a player: I am looking for a group with 3-6 players, not completely hack and slash, but not RP-focused to the point where an entire session is usually spent without a single die roll. As far as class, I tend to play Paladins, Psions, or Rangers. I usually stick to core races.
As a DM: Looking for 4-6 players, I usually play homebrew worlds, but I've dabbled with Forgotten Realms in the past. I occasionally run one-shot dungeon crawls, but usually stick with about 50/50 combat/roleplay. I tend towards somewhat detailed worlds that the players shape as the campaign goes on.
I prefer longer games (6-12 hours), would prefer Saturdays or Sundays, starting at about noon. I can host the game(I live in Livermore), but parking would be an issue(apartment). If I do not host, I'd prefer to play somewhere in the Dublin/Pleasanton/Livermore area, or close by(Hayward/Castro Valley, Fremont, Tracy, Danville/San Ramon).
Edit: I just realized I made it sound like I'm looking for a pre-formed group. I'd prefer that, but I'm willing to build a group as well.
