So, who is in the Burbank, CA area, or around that?

Probably a homebrew, named Gothica. Lol, one sentence pretty much gives the theme:

. . . and he looked into shadow and saw the future and it was as darkness forever . . .

And, er, it was going to be a sit-down group, not a PbP. Although I am trying to arrange one on a dragon themed forum I'm on (the problem is, hardly anybody there plays D&D)

Lol, I'm trying to get into a PBP on a few other forums. As for the whole age restriction, I know it limits the amount of players I'll get, but I -as a teen myself - am looking for other teens to game with. I had a group going for a while . . . but 2/3 members of the group are flakes and rarely show up to a game, so I need new members. Online gaming isn't really a problem for me, it is just finding a sit-down group.

Hello,

I want to start/join a group in the LA area. I am looking for people that care more about characters and story, than stats or maximum efficiency.

In particular I am interested in the following games:

* D&D 3.5 / Pathfinder RPG
* Arcana Evolved
* Dragonlance
* Star Wars Saga

Lol, this pretty much fits what I am looking for too. If you are going to start a group, I'll join if you'll have me. I play both Dragonlance and D&D 3.5.

I am also thinking of starting a group in the Burbank area. Not sure what setting to play - I was thinking of an alternate dimension of Dragonlance or possibly a home brew world.

Alas, I have not. I'll pretty much run any setting.

Currently recruiting 4-6 players between the ages of 13-19. As for the actual campaign, this is yet to be decided (I will let the players choose what they want to play). The rules will either be D&D 3.5 or a set of House Rules (see http://www.penandpapergames.com/forums/member.php?u=4386 for more details).

So far, a few possible settings are Dragonlance, Lankmar, or a few home created ones: Gothica and Qwa Vaam.
