Hate to break it to you kid, but you roll damage multiple times on a crit, not multiply the roll ;) and you have to roll again to confirm. roll a second time, if that one hits, then you do Crit.

if there was ever a reason to prefer the 4.0 rules...

With another arrow nocked Addam searches but can't find the last foe. "Where is she?"

If Addam discovers where she is he will attack using his bow.

Addam notches two more armour periecing arrows and launches at Nylithati.

Addam moves forward along the wall to get a better angled shot. As he moves he sheaths his sword and takes out his bow and armour piercing arrows and aims at "green skinned women".

"I shall answer with the point of my weapon!"

since no initiative has been asked for I assume that I'm still free to move and prepare an attack.

Addam will move forward 3 squares and left 1 square.

Addam will hold launching his arrows until the rest of the party moves in for combat, as soon as they (or atleast someone else) commits to combat he will launch his attack.

Addam tells the rest of the party what he hears... "This is going to be difficult fighting hunched over like this." Addam unsheaths his sword and prepares himself for possible combat. He slowly continues down the tunnel.

Addam stumbles to the closest wall leaning up against it. Feeling his legs give out he slides down the wall to the carvern floor. His hands fumble for his water flask and takes a long pull.

I'm pretty sure the only way we're going to get this thing is if you (Gothard) and Rorie tank while the rest of us beat it down...

With Gothard out of the water Addam doesn't feel he can lead the charge on the octopus. He moves over beside Gothard and prepares to attack should a tenticle stray in his range.

If Addam can see it he will attack at at the tenticle that has gripped Gothard's leg. If he can not see it he will attack whatever he can reach.

Now with enemies on two sides Addam chooses to attack the one who is closest to cutting off his line of retreat and launches a double dose of arrows into lacedon #4.

So I will continue moving to the pillar but only take one shot instead of the rapid shot. If that 17 doesn't hit for some reason I would now be +2 because I'm not using the rapid shot so it should be a 19.

Addam sees the creatures entering the cave and knocks a regular arrow as he moves 3 squares forward (move right beside the column). Addam shouts a warning to the rest of the party. As he gets into position he launches a pair of arrows at Lacedon #2.

I'm not sure about you lot, but I'm pretty sure that this isn't good enough to eat. Lets get rid of it. Addam grabs the barrel and starts rolling it outside to either burn or bury.

Later on as he stands over the whole looking at the torches below I think we should leave our compatriots here to fix the light house while we explore the caves. Addam prepares a rope for climbing down the hole.

As the search comes to an end Addam is dismayed that a bunch of backwater natives don't have any arrows laying around. Really what kind of canibals are they! He walks back over to the food figuring that they now have enough for atleast a week... wait... what is this made out of....? sniffing at the dried meat to try to determine its orgin.

Well its clear the natives have left. Do the benefits of finishing the light house and being rescued out way the probability of someone we don't want to come for us knowing where we are?

I also think we should check out the tunnel.
