GEN CON!!!!! I'll be there from wednesday night til sunday so I won't be able to post during that time. Just giving ya'll a heads up and is anybody else going? GEN CON!!!!!!
"Intresting but whose next on the chopping block?" Aciera casually asks.
"Looks like nothing down here Maena, shall we go to the next door?"She looks to the next door and waits for her companions response.
As Maena searches the rafters, the dhampir searches the ground.
Aciera looks upward to see if any birds are about and then speaks to Lende her hawk, "Do you see any other birds around, missy?"
Seeing all that blood splatter Aciera's stomach growls,and so the young Dhampir takes a tug on her wineskin that is mixed with a special ingredient. "Well that was intresting.....Whats a leech doing here?"
As the leech blops onto the ground Aceria lets out a hiss at the fellow bloodsucker.
"If it truly was the judge that paid you off, did give you a reason why he wanted this man silenced?" She flips through the ledger again and stares at Halgark.
"From who? Or was your secert admirer hanging around downstairs?
"This not a time to evade these questions my lady, if we don't know your sin we can't try to prevent the attack on you from the ghosts." He she gives a cold smile.
Holding up the book to her head with her right hand and the opals in his left. "Hmmm now my orken friend did you owe these debts or maybe collected them for the dead gob." She'll throw down the opals on the desk, and begins reading closer of the ledger.
"Hallway looks clear, with those stairs there I think we might want to check the other door? It seems this one leads further away from the floor and I'd want to cover all this area before moving on again." With that the hastey witch checks the east door and if its safe she'll open that door as well
The young dhampir moves to the door checking it carefully now, then opens if it all looks clear.
"Maybe the ghost just wants you to carry your guilt, so you forever know your shame." She'll move on to the next room if everybody is done with this one.
"So do you want your toes back Halgrak?" She looks around the room for any other clues or something to happen to the toeless gentleman.
"Does anyone have a needle and thread perhaps we can reunite his toes?"
Feeling safer in the building with the hobgoblin out of the way and the ghost seeming to aim only for the jurors she hops to the doors across the hall and opens them.
She looks on Ebin, "What......no smart alleck comments, Intresting." The Dhampir whats the gnome with intrest. She looks around and comments to the building, "No judgements from this world? I guess were off to the next room, would you like to knock on the next door Ebin?"
"I wonder what the spirit's sense of humor is like then, don't you Ebin my boy?" She gives the gnome a twisted smile. "For your sake I hope it's just a knock knock joke."
Aciera takes a look at the rotting boards, she takes out her dagger uses it to examine the odd wood further.
"K then...." Aciera moves over to the rotting boards and tries to pull one off.
Looking into the room, Aciera moves her arm up gesturing for them to go in, "So who made the big problems in this room? Please step forward and be ready for your judgement."
"Okay, let's get moving no use worrying about this goblin he had it coming and I think the rest of you might but we won't find answers just standing here." Aciera moves to the next door ignoring any complaints from the other guilty parties.
Aciera pockets the gold cigar and silver tindertwig cases. Tosses the potion to Kiley then fumbles through the pouch. She pulls out a tooth and looks at Ebin, "HHhhhhmmmm, looks like this might be yours? Would you like it back?" If he does she would give it to him, and looks at the rest to see if ones the judges.
"Wonder's whose rooms next?" She says as she searches the hobgoblins body to see if he was hiding anything else.
Looking at Malgrim then the rest of jury, "So what did the rest of you do to anger this spirit?" She turns her head innocently when she asks the blunt question.
"Thats enought evidence for me.......What do you say paladin." She says confidently with the spell of ray of enfeeblement on the tip of her tongue just in case.
Aciera glances over the room to see if anything else of intrest is in there and to take a closer look at the as she says, "In the Tundra the only evidence you need is strength to punish the run doer, the Hoarfr....." She pauses for a moment and stays quiet as she finishes her search.
"We just have your confession of being a dogkiller, I wonder how much of a fight it put up when it was alive." She looks down at the pile of bones then looks at the skeleton, "So why did you kill the mutt? Your boss was doing the real job taking care of the judge so he sent his lackey to deal with the dog or did it turn down your advances?" She says with a cold smile from behind her fellow companions and Sir Rekkart.
"That still doesn't make it right to stand by and let this, this thing kill him!" He nudges the cleric and whispers, "What if we just let him get serverly wounded and then save him" She gives her wink.
Aciera tries to hide her cheer for the mutt as it sinks its teeth into the arrogant gobliniod. Then Lende starts chirping at her, "Hush Hush, lets see how this fight plays out." She backs away a little bit just to not get in the way of the fight.
Lende lands on Aciera shoulder, as it chirps at her you hear a response from the young Dhampir "I don't think that will work but worth a try, yeah yeah I'll try...:" While the two are fighting, she invokes her Feral speech hex(mammals):"Dog who is your master now?"
Aciera thinks to herself, "Again hhhmmm intresting..." The winter witch moves to the side and watches the hobgoblin struggle with the undead hound. "So do you just kill dogs goblin or did you kill it's master as well?"
"Did he go missing before or after this place was boarded up?"
"Long time to hold a grudge, but Sir Pally when did your town abandon this so called place of justice?" Aciera questions while looking at the two skeletons.
