Dawn breaks over Demacia. A cheerful town in the Southeastern corner of the province already bustles with the goings on of hardworking Demacians preparing for the festival of Shadow's Peak, commemorating the founding of the town. On this very day some time ago the founder, Gamaeus Holdrun, prayed to all that is Just in Valoran and the Cosmos to show him a place to settle with his family. On that day, the shadow of Mount Gargantuan fell with it's peak on one particular slab of stone just at sunset. His house became a homestead, became a settlement, and became a town in time.

Many booths and food stands are being set up and various VIP's from all over Demacia have been arriving all week.

I'll leave it to you as to why you're there. Feel free to flavor in whatever booths or happenings you like to introduce your character. None of the VIP's are in public yet.

Welcome you lucky (and well crafted) few. Congratulations on being accepted to the group and I hope we have good times together!

Hey guys I made a thing because the other boards are down. Didja notice?

Anyone wanna join up for a game where we start at a hilariously high level just for giggles? What if some level 10 PC's from Kingmaker went over to Ustalav for the start of Carrion Crown? What if a Level 12 bunch of mercenaries happened to be in Numeria at the time of Iron Gods? I fully expect the GM to have to BS it to keep us in line of the story, but still. It could be fun just to see how it goes. Maybe just a module?

Oh and my plate is a little too full to GM it Right now. Sorry if I've teased you, but just seeing if there are any GM's with a sense of humor out there willing to put a party together and go kick ass for giggles. Maybe we can work something out like GMing for one another?

I shall await the nay-saying replies now...

WELCOME TO SUMMONER'S PATHFINDER

It's finally here! The recruitment thread!

Enter the world of Valoran as denizens of Runeterra.

The setting:

This is a pathfinder campaign set in Runeterra, where the majority of League of Legends lore originates. Similarly to the current lore to my understanding, the actual League does not exist in this dimension, and summoning magic is the only reason some champs are equivalent in strength. Garen will be a middling high level, but Cho'Gath will have a CR on par with a Great Old One like Cthulhu or something.

The Setup:

There is an understanding of borders at the moment. It's a weird unspoken agreement that, apart from the eternal Noxus-Demacia campaign, no one is taking hostile action across their borders. Sure, a skirmish or two up in the Freljord, the usual Noxian diplomacy, but no acts of war. There is this uneasy feeling though. Well traveled characters know that the armies of each respective city-state are larger than ever, and alliances are almost non-existent.

The PC's find themselves in Demacia as Noxus attacks, and must prove their worth in trial by fire. The campaign will inevitably lead them off into other iconic locations and they will cross paths with champions all over.

The Space Duck:

I am a bit of a wild card GM. I like the standard rules, and they all have their purpose. That said, the purpose often outweighs the letter, and I may bend a few things. I have a handful of house rules that I use and am expanding upon, and I love feedback. I'm very good with numbers and balance, so I like brewing new things into the existing material.
You should know that I am fairly against evil parties and flagrant self service. I don't care that you're a perfect pragmatist and somehow are here because of self interest, if the party doesn't like you, I can arrange to have Gnar picking you out of his teeth.
I prefer the party to gel with flavor even more so than with mechanics, so I usually throw a gmpc in to fill the biggest gap in a party. Make the characters you want.

You!:

As I said, no Evil. My ability to evoke character investment generally revolves around a sense of virtue and ethics. I'm just not a good evil GM.
You may use any race found in Golarion, or the races Yordle and Glorious Evolutionite as detailed below. (15RP limit)(I am racist against Aasimars, so that will hurt your chances)
Champions do exist, and I'll try to pay the fanservice and see a lot of them, but you are NOT a champion. You MIGHT have a personal connection with one champ, but you may not be a champ (And I'd suggest no direct likeness thereof, just don't put yourself in a box).

What I want to see in subs

If you would like to get the jump on Character Crunch, Its 20 pt buy, level 3, 1000 gold. Any Paizo, no 3pp stuff.
That said, I don't care. I will check your wall of numbers before acceptance, but what I care about is your character.
The only required crunch is Race, Class, and expected build/ party role.

Character Description.
This is your tag line, what goes in my list. You get MAYBE two sentences to describe your character and how s/he fits in to the party.

You and League.
What positions/champs do you play? What champs do you love/hate and would still in character?

Optionally
You can post or send me your summoner name, and I'll look you up!

Also Optionally
You can post a more in depth backstory or short excerpt from your history! I like good writing.

NOT OPTIONAL
Your Character must have a theme song. I will listen to it and take it into consideration.
(Worry not, there are nearly no genres I can't stand, except things that are literally nothing but repetitive, unclever vulgarity.)

A note about optional races:
I have an idea of what I want Yordles to be as a race, and I will post that for your reference. ALSO, if you find a race whose mechanics suit you, but would like to flavor it as an augmented Zaunite or other Runeterran race, I can work with you. Mechanics must match an existing race closely.

Can't wait to hear from you all!!! Happy Character crafting!

Hello Friends! I hope I have not kept you too long. I didn't want to delay any longer in putting this together, even though I still have a few tough days ahead. Please be patient, and I promise we will pick up steam down the road.

I have a small Questionnaire for you so that I can adjust my style to fit the people in my game. Just answer based on what YOUR perfect game would be.

First, What are your preferences on

Adult Language?
I don't swear that much but I may when it fits. If you have issue with it at all it will be no problem to reduce or censor myself, I just wanna ****ing know.

Graphic Content?
Sometimes combat animations get gory and bloody, and sometimes I may embellish a particularly gruesome sight too much for those not in to that sort of thing. Again just your preference. "Well, yes you said he was hanged by a noose made from his own intestines, but it couldn't have been THAT painful, right?

Sensitive (Or insensitive) Topics?
feel free to pm me if there's any line you have that I should know about. Just don't want to turn a thread into a big blow uppy argument. I personally will hunt you down for quoting Frozen.

Off Book Material?
How far from the book are you comfortable going? Are you a purist? Are you as kooky as me? I have a few fun ideas I'd like to chase with you all to make it personal. The fourth wall mime is watching you...

Second, How familiar are you with...

This Website?
Does everyone know the formatting more or less? Also, if we can agree on a formatting convention it'd be nice for my ocd. Bold for speech, italics for thoughts and spell names, etc.

Pathfinder in General?
I'm ok with helping people learn, but it'd be nice to know where we're coming from. I use all the 1st party material on d20pfsrd.com "I play Skyrim, so close enough right?"

And lastly, do we, have we, or can we play any other games together?
I don't think I recognized any of you but I can't remember that well, so lemme know if you know me or my characters haha.

We'll get rolling (pun intended) soon!

Ladies and more Ladies

Here

We

Go.

Even with the cobblestones of Argent Avenue and the
foliage of Aria Park still wet from the morning’s light rain,
dozens of Kintargans have gathered along the facade of the
opera house to protest the city’s new lord-mayor, Paracount
Barzillai Thrune. The city’s new leader was appointed by
Her Infernal Majestrix, Queen Abrogail II, in the wake of
the previous lord-mayor’s sudden flight from the city—
an event that still has local rumormongers whispering
furiously. In a scant seven days, Paracount Thrune has
instituted martial law, a curfew, and seven outlandish and
polarizing proclamations. These actions and more have
called many of Kintargo’s dissatisfied citizens here on
this overcast morn. There’s been no sign yet of Barzillai
Thrune himself, and the opera house’s doors remain tightly
closed—as they have since the man chose the landmark as
his new home—but judging by the growing sound of the
protesters, he surely can’t ignore the scene on the streets
below much longer.

Unbeknownst to them, four unlikely heroes woke for the last time as anything that could be described as Average...

Hello! Hi! Hey there!

I met these really cool folks in a recruitment thread and thought we'd make a killer team even though that GM decided to go another way, so I thought why not make a team and find a GM that doesn't want to go through the pains of recruitment in these shark infested waters!?

Thus far we have confirmed a Swashbuckler, a Dervish Bard, and an Oracle.

Those are each links to our profiles. I'll include the fourth once he confirms or I find another, but players this is NOT A CHARACTER RECRUITMENT. The new GM may want to recruit one more, but NOT YET.

A bit about Felicia specifically.:

Felicia is crazy. Crazy fast, crazy hot, and crazy crazy. I'm pretty good at building Swashbucklers, as they are my favorite class. It has been sad that all the campaigns she got in to have died from flaky GM's or weird circumstance. She's taking advantage of a newer archetype, the Falcata Swashbuckler, and I'm excited to see how it works out.

You should take note that I've customized her as half Catfolk. The race specifics are in the profile, and the only weird thing is her magical scent that came from her kitty dad and her sorceress mom. If it's necessary I can make her full catfolk or full human if the GM we choose is heavily against custom things.

Finally, full disclosure, I am GM'ing this game in meatspace. It shouldn't affect my gameplay or character knowledge, but I wanted you to know xD

I'll announce a cutoff date once the whole party has chimed in and such. Good Luck!

HP 8/11 | Panache 2/3 | =^._.^= Swashbuckler 1 AC/FF/T 18/14/14 | F+1 R+6 W-1 | Init +4 | Perc +3 +Scent

Hey I thought we might want to meet and greet before I put up the recruitment for our own campaign. You see another one went up asking for a Hell's Rebels GM, so I didn't want to throw ours up at the same time. I'll go for it today as soon as we've met though!

I've been wanting to do this for a while, so I finally feel like I can see who wants to join me.

Welcome to the League of Pathfinder!!!

The Teal Deer:
TL;DR of everything.
League Campaign, Pathfinder Rules, Runeterra setting.
Start in Demacia, brink of a World War.
Champions exist, you are NOT one of them.
20 pt buy, no evil, All Paizo, no 3pp.
Character RP example preferred.
I am GM space Duck. Fear me. Quack.

The setting
This is a pathfinder campaign set in Runeterra, where the majority of League of Legends lore originates. Similarly to the current lore to my understanding, the actual League does not exist in this dimension, and summoning magic is the only reason some champs are equivalent in strength. Garen will be a middling high level, but Cho'Gath will have a CR on par with a Great Old One like Cthulhu or something.

The Setup
Runeterrans are just too damn strong, and they all want to prove it. War is breaking out everywhere, and some very crucial and shaky alliances have yet to be made. The PC's find themselves in Demacia as Noxus attacks, and must prove their worth in trial by fire. The campaign will inevitably lead them off into other iconic locations and they will cross paths with champions all over.

The Space Duck
I am a bit of a wild card GM. I like the standard rules, and they all have their purpose. That said, the purpose often outweighs the letter, and I may bend a few things. I have a handful of house rules that I use and am expanding upon, and I love feedback. I'm very good with numbers and balance, so I like brewing new things into the existing material.

I prefer the party to gel with flavor even more so than with mechanics, so I usually throw a gmpc in to fill the biggest gap in a party. Make the characters you want.

You!
Should I receive the interest to move forward, You should know about your characters and my plans.
As I said, no Evil. My ability to evoke character investment generally revolves around a sense of virtue and ethics. I'm just not a good evil GM.
You may use any race found in Golarion, and I will work with players if anyone wants to use Runeterran races like Ursine, Yordle, or Voidling.
Champions do exist, and I'll try to pay the fanservice and see a lot of them, but you are NOT a champion. You MIGHT have a personal connection with one champ, but you may not be a champ or any likeness thereof.

Lastly, know that this is based on MY interpretation of the lore. There will be anachronisms and discrepancies, but I'll try to make it the best experience that I can.

If you would like to get the jump on Character submission, Its 20 pt buy, level 3, 1000 gold. Any Paizo, no 3pp crap unless it's mine, and 12RP limit. (I am racist against Aasimars, so that will hurt your chances)

All submissions should come with a decent backstory or roleplay short with your character. Don't confuse long with high quality in these.

Salaam and good evening, fellow creative types! If you're like me, it didn't take you long after you discovered pathfinder to begin having new ideas to make the game more fun, realistic, challenging, or what have you. Alternatively you could be one (also like me) that read Paizo's class, race, and monster building suggestions and went buck wild with them. Unfortunately, we rarely get to test these ideas because often they need work to be balanced in a campaign, and other players don't want to play along side. I present to you a place where we can discuss our ideas and set up playtest scenarios to have fun with them. For schitts and giggles I have named this Project Prometheus, for the Greek titan who put so much careful thought into one being that its creation took as long as the whole of the animal kingdom.

/END COLORFUL FLAVOR TEXT
... LOADING PROJECT PROMETHEUS.

What I'm looking for:
1: Creative people! It may seem silly, but I'm serious. We're looking for people to have ideas. If you're just there to review or get ideas that's ok, but I'd really prefer everyone have something to contribure eventually.
2: A positive group Yes, sometimes we will have negative critiques, but I hope to foster an attitude of constructive advice. Swearing and other adult content is fine, but if it's gonna make somebody whine, spare us their post and spoiler it.
3: GM's We are gonna want to playtest our ideas, so we need more GM's than just me who are willing to set up and facilitate scenario's to test concepts.

I fully expect and encourage other threads starting from this group, but I'm gonna encourage a "My thread, my rules" policy. It shouldn't matter much, all I intend to do is say when to move a conversation to another thread or stop any argument that gets a little too heated. but when someone starts their own thread, show them the respect of any GM.

I'll probably think of more later, but I wanna go ahead and get this posted. Any takers?

I had this idea for a character I'm developing, and I really like how the race came together so I wanted to put it out there to see if others like it.

The Forsaken
Sometimes, by cosmic accident or magical interference, young ones are cast into other planes of existence while still alive. In even more astronomically rare circumstances, they survive. Most of the survivors are human, and most, if they come back, come from the shadow plane.

Flexible (2 RP)
Benefit: To survive in the Shadow Plane, Forsaken must be fast in mind and body. They receive a +2 Racial bonus to DEX and INT

Fast (1 RP)
Prerequisites: Normal speed.
Benefit: Forsaken still exist slightly in the shadow realm, which is smaller than the material in terms of distance. As such they have a base speed of 40 ft.

Shadowsight 60 Feet (2 RP)
Prerequisites: None.
Benefit: Forsaken can see in the dark up to 60 feet, and can detect creatures moving through the shadow plane

Fearless (1 RP)
Prerequisites: None.
Benefit: You grew up in the shadow plane… Forsaken gain a +2 racial bonus on all saving throws against fear effects.
Special: This bonus stacks with the bonus granted by the lucky (greater or lesser) racial trait.

Defensive Training (1 RP)
Prerequisites: None.
Benefit: The creatures that inhabit the Shadow plane are best avoided rather than confronted. Forsaken gain a +2 dodge bonus to AC against Outsiders with ties to the shadow plane and a +2 bonus to Stealth checks to avoid detection from such a foe.

PTSD (-1 RP)
Escaping from the Shadow Plane is the only goal of a Forsaken One. Once done, if a Forsaken ever comes into contact with the shadow plane again (i.e. Shadow Walk) he becomes Shaken for 1d3 minutes (will save DC 15 reduces to 1d3 rounds) and becomes fatigued the following day because of nightmares (Will save DC 18 negates)

Alternate trait, Eyeless forsaken
Some Forsaken, whether to guard against the horrors of their realm or from the insanity such horrors invoke, either remove, cover, or otherwise make useless their eyes. These poor souls rarely survive, but if they do, they learn to sense the flow of energy around them and, coupled with their other senses, achieve a form of sight. Blind forsaken gain Blindsight 30ft and a +5 Racial bonus to sound based perception checks and bluff checks, and can generally pinpoint nearby combatants by sound unless an opposing stealth check is made. Those with a ki pool may spend a point to double the range of blindsight for ten minutes per hit die. They cannot read and take a -5 penalty to sense motive checks, and cannot make sight based perception checks outside of their field of blindsight.

If the forsaken uses any spell, potion, or action that removes his blindness, he must roll on the following table.
d% Effect
1-5 Poor sight, -5 to perception, Blindsight removed
6-84 All special abilities are removed
85-93 Blindsense is retained, all others are removed
93-98 Blindsense, +5 to sound based peception
99-100 All abilities are retained, all penalties are removed

This trait replaces Shadowsight.

All the peices are falling into place... mwahahahaha....

QUACK!

It is that time of year again! Walking Dead is back on, I'm kinda bored with schoolwork, and I'm finally comfortable enough with the numbers and stuff to run my own homebrew!

So like I said, Zombie apocalypse. Not just zombies though, Necromorphs, mutating beasts, Pseudomagical creatures and opponents, and enough survivors to make for a balanced Roleplay and Combat game!

The big Part is that this takes place in the "Real World" and not Golarion. I'll literally be taking screenshots from Google Maps and such. That said, nearly every class and race is acceptable per approval. Allow me to explain: You are all normal humans, nothing special, no significant class or racial distinction, in fact you begin the campaign at what I'm calling Level 0. You are special, though, in that you have a rare genetic anomaly that makes you a candidate for a genetic super soldier infusion.

I am a major numbers guy, and I have as many house rules as I've ever seen. That said, I know Pathfinder, and all my little adjustments do make sense. For instance, rolling a d20 plus a stat mod is an extremely wide variance of results and extremely low variance between players. Therefore some things are rolled low variance, like a DC17 d6+STR check. A character with a STR of ten couldn't do it at all, but one with 16 or higher is automatic success because someone that strong could indeed open the stuck door with little effort.

Also, This is a Sci-fi campaign with fantasy undertones. Magic casters are allowed, but every ability has to be Flavored so that it works in scifi, not magic. no flavor, no spell. Also, the flavor CAN affect the way some abilities may work, so be mindful. And finally, I reserve the right to reject or modify flavor, and I will gladly help you find the right one for your ability!

THE NEW STUFF:
So, what I didn’t really explain was that I have a very unique idea for building characters. Your initial build gives you some individuality and makes all things equalish, but day one changes all of that. At the beginning of "Day One", you receive a primer for your experimental upgrade. Here's the fun part: Your decisions during Day One are what build your Character. It's kinda like rolling your Character, but this is more likely to fit exactly what you want to roleplay. Depending on how it works out, there will be an adjustment grace given at the end of Day one.

That said, you may not get exactly the character you want. It is a good idea to not be extremely attached to your original concept. You may start out with a swashbuckler in mind, trying to build DEX and CHA, but end up with only 15 DEX and 20 CHA, a much better build for a sorcerer or something else depending on your other stats. Also, the SPR stat is going to be standalone. After much consideration, I don't need to give myself one more mechanic to test in this as I'm already altering and testing half the rules anyway.

So here's the nitty Gritty.

The Story:

You live in the modern world, more or less. You see, for the last few years, there have been all these reports on the news of ridiculous things happening. Secret research facilities in Texas and all across the western seaboard somehow making the dead rise. At least that's how it started, contained instances, usually backed with an expert talking about bath salts or some other new fad drug causing the attacks. Then there were a few viral videos of some guy who was completely alive and present tearing into a poor dude's neck and drinking his blood. They get more outlandish from there. Everybody loves the video where the dude that swears he saw a fairy gets autotuned.

It was funny up until the act of war. Recent culture had hyped up apocalyptic scenarios such that the already stressed international relations went haywire. About a year ago, the UN turned the Nuke key. Thermonuclear warheads dropped on Houston Texas as well as a few other places both domestic and international. Half of Texas is irradiated, along with Southern California. The President had managed to stave off all out global nuclear war though, and life was returning to normalcy despite the tragedy. Things got really hush hush on the news after that though. Even the stuff on youtube was going down for BS copyright laws or just plain disappearing.

This is where you come in. It is Spring of 2015. Most of you knew me last semester, by Pathfinder or otherwise. I was, however, abruptly called up in a more or less secret draft. No one really knows why, but it's kept pretty quiet. On this particular day, you all find yourself on campus at a pathfinder game for one reason or another (You don't have to be playing). Then one of you gets a phone call…

Zombies and YOU (Character submission):

I unintentionally implied in the first post that you have to be yourself in this campaign, which is not the case. I do not know or really care who most of you are in real life, this is roleplay for a reason. You are welcome to play yourself, but I don't care what your skills or actual physical abilities are, you're not getting extra ability points or traits. Any backstory is acceptable, from the most mundane to the most outlandish, and I'd like to have a good mix of those. The only caveat is that it can't give you a significant advantage or go against your stats. No billionaire gun aficionados or special forces snipers. Also, you have to have a decent reason to be at a Pathfinder game at Toccoa Falls College with the other characters.

Your Character is on a seven point buy. That is correct, 7. Furthermore, you have yet to make yourself significantly different from other humans (Because your "Race" is actually a genetic modification) therefore do not select a racial bonus to your ability score yet. (No SPR after all, that'll come later. Just six stats) Also you may select two traits and reflavor them to be about your vocation, major, or hobby. I'm not good at remembering drawbacks, but if you have a stellar idea, I'll consider it.

It'll be nice to know what you are going for as a class/race, though, so I can have a party comp in mind. Furthermore, I'd like you to take an ability or spell from that class and flavor it for me as part of your submission. Just a sample bit so that I can get a feel for who wants to flavor and play out the setting and who wants to basically just rename magic :P

As for your selections, all Paizo material is fine, and I just don't have time or patience for reviewing 3rd party materials, so automatic no on those.
You have whatever is on you at the time of the story beginning, and living on campus may give you a little leeway, but I'm assuming that none of you have significant weapons or other adventuring gear.

Guns and ammo will be exceedingly rare and high powered in this campaign, so if you really want to play a gun class, talk to me so that we can see about flavoring the class to still work. I simply recommend the Bolt Ace or Gun scavenger archetypes. (Hey, I'm pretty sure Daryl Dixon is a Bolt Ace)

Languages are real world for the most part. I expect that you all speak fluent English, but no bonus languages yet. You may take Bilingual as a trait (or both traits) but otherwise you speak 'muricanese or English.

Zombies and ME. (About GMSD):

Me as a GM… Well, I've only been playing Pathfinder for about a year now, but my obsessive qualities have pushed me to memorize and scrutinize a huge chunk of the PFSRD. My knack for numbers and mechanics is what gave me the idea to put them together into this type of things, and I reserve the right to modify things such that they sound right to me for a bit. Also, I welcome your criticism on my adjusted mechanics.

I'm a pretty lighthearted GM (My name is GM Space Duck for cryin out loud xD) and I try to throw in bits to keep the mood from being too much of a downer for too long. That said, this has the potential to be a pretty dark game. The more in character you are the better, and once you've seen your best friend try to kill you (Maybe or maybe not eat you), things tend to be a little humorless.

As for my play style, it's all over the place. I will use the map, grid, and turn system, but realistic movements and narrative combat can take precedence if they fit. When in doubt, PM me and ask :)
I will try to keep the dice from outright screwing you, helping you out through the first level or two. In general, however, I kill without conscience or mercy, at least for this campaign. If you die, oh well, we'll figure something out, but no one is sacred, even TPK is not taboo to me. I'm not saying I'll try to kill you, I just won't apologize. Well I probably will but it'll be more of a "There there" than anything xD.

I don't know maps too well yet, but I intend to learn some different tools for them soon. Maps may be Text in boxes at first, then flat maps, followed by full maps with moveable bits. All in good time. As for character sheets, I prefer sheets. Myth-weavers.com/sheets has a pretty cool layout and an easy to edit sheet. I'm a bit of a stat nazi, and I like to be able to check up on things easily. Any format is ultimately fine, so long as I can read it. Also, I watch for rerollers and such and GM karma's a Monday to Friday Biscuit eater if you know what I mean.

Above all, get along with the party and we have a great thing goin!

Well there you have it, I look forward to your submissions and your questions! I'm going to tentatively say the recruiting period will last two weeks from today :)

It is that time of year again! Walking Dead is back on, I'm kinda bored with schoolwork, and I'm finally comfortable enough with the numbers and stuff to run my own homebrew!

A character with a STR of ten couldn't do it at all, but one with 16 or higher is automatic success because someone that strong could indeed open the stuck door with little effort.
The one that you need to know right off is that there is a seventh ability score, Spirit or SPR (Subject to change). This measures your overall ability to carry on in a sane and healthy way and affects your sanity pool, which is more or less what it sounds like. Suffice to say, it's kind of an intangible constitution and you really don't want to dump it.

The short version for skimmers:
Make a character concept, any Paizo race or class. (3pp is discouraged as I just don't have time or attention span to review.)
SEVEN point buy, (You heard me right, Your scores will increase drastically throughout the game, you can assume a roughly 20 point buy by level one.)
Don't forget the extra stat, SPR
NO EQUIPMENT Don't worry, I got you when that time comes, you get what you want more or less.
Make the Human, unskilled version of yourself This is what that seven point buy is for. You're in a small town in Northern Georgia, USA, playing pathfinder on the college campus. 2 Traits should be non-magical and be flavored by vocation, Major, hobby, or some real world situation. Feel free to pitch your own trait ideas. Also, think about how the Genetic or Cybernetic enhancements will give you your Race and Class.
Your personality and physicality MUST fit your ability scores and such just a pet peeve really, but a ninety pound chick shouldn't have a STR of 14 and so on.
And How do you know me? I am an Outdoor education major at the school, involved in pathfinder, Drama, and music heavily, and Generally recognized around the college and the town. Feel free to make it up, mostly anything goes!

I'll probably add more stuff before this is a sure thing, but as it comes to me.
Like this, Gunslingers... Not disallowed, but will probably have to be modified. I say this because I like the Gritty tone of the class, but Firearms in this campaign become exceedingly rare and are way more overpowered than in Pathfinder proper. And I jut EDITed in the me section above!

Well that's it! so tell me, can the messageboards stand one more Zombie apocalypse? What are your thoughts slash Characters? Thanks for stoppin by!

This is a bit of a backward situation, but My friends and I have a party that we'd like to play, but no PBP Adventure to use them for, as our whole friendgroup wants to play and not GM. It started with a concept of two Ratfolk brothers and grew into a trio, and now I have two more players lined up to fill the back row as soon as we have a feel for the campaign someone wants to run.

I have been playing Pathfinder for about a year, and pbp for nearly all of that as well. One of my bros is as new as me, but has yet to play pbp, and the other, while still new to pbp, has played pathfinder for years.

We are Ratfolk Triplets, accustomed to fighting together since birth.

First is Flynn, The charming Swashbuckler (Mouser archetype) who usually talks for the three and fights with many a taunt and wisecrack.
Then there is Frederick, The sneaky one (Rogue Knifemaster). Frederick is a quiet intellectual type with a penchant for making things bleed.
And lastly, Fidgit, The stinky Hoplophile. (Gulch Gunner) Fidgit loves nothing more than the sound of a gunshot felling a foe, and he's a little psychotic.

The other two are my biological brothers, and, as I mentioned, they have yet to decide on their characters. I am encouraging them to make Medium Characters, but an all Rat comp could be fun too.

So far as the Campaign and stuff we'd like to play: We like Golarion because we know it fairly well, but other ideas aren't automatically disqualified. That said, however, Paizo AP's generally prove to start off painfully slow, especially in PBP, so feel free to throw some homebrew or modifications in there.

Character creation is up to the GM, but please post your basics so we can think about that while deciding. I personally have more fun High powered than low so long as the campaign is still challenging.

So please, Give these humble adventurers some work! We'll all post here in character once some interest arises.

The Bandit ridden, untamed wilderness of the river Kingdoms lies before you, and your task is to explore and conquer!

Post one or two in recruitment and/or discussion to get started, guys!

Final Fantasy IX was my favorite of the series because of the incredible storyline. In fact, as I was playing through it recently, I figured that the basic plot could be stripped down to make an incredible Pathfinder Campaign that still left room for creative freedom. So here it is, a videogame redone with pathfinder rules. I'd really like to have a few players that have never played FFIX before so that there's a bit more surprise and chance for the story to take off in a random direction.

For Characters, there are some restrictions, but I tried to strip it down to allow as much freedom as possible. I need four players, as the story progresses, four more characters are introduced, but we can decide whether they get new players or existing players when that time comes. Here are the starting Four:

1: The charming Thief. Does not have to be a rogue, but does have to fit the band of thieves background. Must appear to be a Human with a tail, but gets the catfolk racial build.

2:The Black Mage Child. Must be an offensive spellcaster. The Black mage race for him is essentially a gnome, but with a few tweaks.

3: The Princess. Must be a Good Human with a relatively noncombatant class (i.e. oracle, alchemist, etc.).

4: The Knight. Class must make some sense for a knight. Must be a medium humanoid.

I look forward to seeing whether anyone wants to play and hearing good ideas for the characters! More info upon request btw.

Well let's give this a shot! It'll probably take me a few tries to get everything in like it's supposed to be.

OTHER PLAYERS This is a continuation of a Meatspace game, so no open recruiting! Sorry!

So once you guys sign up for an account, make your account you, then make Aliases for each character you control. We'll figure out fun stuff once everyone is on and has posted in the discussion forum!
