Before acting damage is 4 now, which is painful. I discard everything but Sinderbos. Banish the Mercenary to add 1d4 and bury a corrupted blessing to get one fewer in my discards.

Thargrap explores the defender deck to find a Stonefist Crusader.
BA i'm dealt 2 damage for Corrupted boons in discards, so I discard Skitter and Black Dagger Chemist.
Combat 18: 1d10 + 5 + 1d8 + 1 + 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 5 + (3) + 1 + (2) + 3 = 21 Defeated and buried.

Blessing of Shax to explore once more. Will-o-wisp. Bury Skitter from discards to add a second d6, and Use Shardra's Blessing of Deskari and I'll use a Mythic charge I think.

Banishing the Stonefist Crusader.

Banish the Cultist Archer to move to the Wardstone Chamber.

Banish Will-o-wisp to draw a card, which is Manual of War. Banish another monster to draw Blessing of Deskari, which I'll use to explore the first card, which is Blessing of Ascension.

UGH. it's a Dominion Scientist. That's like... the worst thing I could have drawn. Each character suffers 2 Force damage. That can also increase the difficulty by up to 10. Wow.
Blessing of Baphomet for 2 dice. Bury a card for 1d6.
Combat 21+10=31: 1d10 + 5 + 2d10 + 1d6 ⇒ (6) + 5 + (8, 2) + (1) = 22 Nope, definitely a fail. I discard the only card left in my hand and the armor banishes. Sigh.
