Expect to encounter GMs that disagree with you. That aside, there is a Convention Boon called "Aspis Defector" that I gave to my Intimidate focused Pirate. It ignores the penalty for Intimidating creatures larger than you.
The kestros is an oddly shaped Bronze Age sling used for launching kestros darts. Your Strength modifier applies on damage rolls when you use a kestros, just as it does for thrown weapons. You can fire—but not load—a kestros with one hand. Loading a kestros is a move action that requires two hands and provokes attacks of opportunity. Halflings treat the kestros as a martial weapon. It is a sling. The question surrounds whether being a "Bronze Age" sling matters or not. I'm inclined to rule it as a sling, which means feats and abilities that affect slings would likewise work with the Kestros. Pretty useful when combined with Warslinger, as the Kestros is a nice damage increase, and you could make Durable Kestros Darts. A counter argument could be that the Halfling Sling Staff isn't treated as a sling (as per this FAQ), and its wording is virtually identical to that of the Kestros.
I'll be starting a new AP soon (not online or Play-by-Post), and was wondering/hoping if I could create a thread here on Paizo for all the players to post background information, "journal entries", IC thoughts, OOC questions, schedules and availability, etc, in one place that everyone could reference. I'd also want it to be private, of course. Something akin to Obsidian Portal, but this way everyone could post with their character's alias linked to their Paizo profile. It'd be kind of like a forum version of the app GroupMe. Anything like that? Old dog seeks new tricks. |
