With Malark's effort to encourage the sailors with the ritual. At the end of the round the ritual completes, the Tide materializes fully in the current timeline. As it does, the monsters drawn to the ship wink out of existence. The sailors aboard both the Tide and the Pixie raise a cheer, knowing in their hearts that the Tide has escaped the time-loop for good. This cheer is cut short, however, as all present catch a glimpse a terrifying form — almost canine, but somehow wrong — lurking at the edges of their vision. The thing’s cold gaze pierces the souls of sailors and heroes alike, filling each with an existential dread. As the image of the hound fades, the Pathfinders realize they have only dealt with a small part of a greater entity: one that has noticed them. Thankfully, the ramifications of this are beyond the scope of the scenario.

Venture-Captain Eras agrees to accompany Yesterday’s Tide for a week to ensure that no lingering effects of the time-loop remain. Thankfully, everything aboard the Tide seems to return to normal at last. Before they part ways, Captain Fidero invites the Pathfinders aboard the Tide for a celebratory meal with himself and the rest of his crew. During this meal, he gives them a jade cat talisman and a dragon turtle scale for their heroism.

The sight of the fearsome dog-god fills the normally stoic Razzm with dread. He arches his back and his fur stands up and he begins to hiss. Fortunately, like so many of his kind, a hearty meal makes everything well again, and the sight of the jade cat jewelry positively cheers him up.
