Keep it up! We've almost got them all! Hope moves in and fires at the last drone
◆ Stride
◆ Fire: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 111d8 ⇒ 4
◆ Fire: 1d20 + 5 - 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 - 5 = 151d8 ⇒ 4

And destroys it!
The adventurers can see the other tower over the treetops, and with the drones destroyed there are no more obstacles in their way.
And I guess the "actually solving the problem" part is meant to be pretty easy because that's actually the end of the scenario! So go ahead and describe how you succeed and I'll give you the ending bit.

"Glad you all better shots than meeee... Crazy place, the sky keeps falling down, creatures out of phaSeeee cryptic apocalyptic... I'm ready for some downtime... take it eaZeeeee."

Hope just stands guard while the more technical minded of the group fix things. After that, she's happy to get off the planet to one where the sky is falling less...

Squawzo |

"Well, folks, looks like our time here is coming to an end," Squawzo announces into his comm. "You've been a great audience. You can catch my next appearance at Absalom Station. 'til then, keep it skittery! Squawzo out!"
The skittermander drops his comm and heads for the ship.

Draven is able to send a signal to temporarily stabilize the collapsing energy field. Instead of falling in great shards to the surface, the energy shield slowly dissipates into the atmosphere. With the planet once again in relative safety, the Weydanites begin the process of establishing peaceful relations with the Alithee Alliance.
While the Alliance is eager to reestablish itself in the modern era, multiple Alithee Alliance factions are still convinced that war against the Sivv Dominion is imminent. Some believe the Alliance should test the quantum technology further to see what other uses it might have, or perhaps vanish for several thousand more years to remain safe from invasion. The future of the Alliance remains uncertain.

Zee picks up the comm unit Squawzo dropped.
"Squawzo, think you dropped something."
Zee hands back the comm unit to Squawzo.
"We're all excited to get back home, but I don't think your comm unit will slow the starship down."
Super Zero thanks for running, fun game and table!
