When deciding what Character(s) to play, don't forget the Core Conversion Guide. It can change dramatically how your character is played.
If they did somewhere, I haven't seen it. Nor have the 7 other people I'm running games with mentioned it. If you see or know where they said it, post it, please.
As far as I am aware they still, since it isn't supported anymore, Paizo kept the Covid relaxation in place where players can play any version of a character, Season or deck. And for online play they don't require ownership of the physical cards anymore. That's the only thing I know that is different from normal.
Do you know where one can find deck lists for the class and ultimate decks?
My initial thought is I'd like to play Brielle the Barbarian with the Ultimate Equipment deck.

Hey folks, glad to be aboard. I have all the decks, although I've only played twelve or so of them, so I am very open to playing any particular role/skillset. In my only other current game I am playing Arabundi, so wouldn't want to do an archer, but looks like that is covered anyway. So, open to anything...

Why don't one of us take a caster (divine or arcane) and the other go the other type of magic? Pick the type of magic you want and I'll take the other side. I have no preference.
I am personally looking at combining it with something like Alchemist, Witch, Warpriest, or even a Bard. Do some combo thing. But I don't know yet as I don't know what school to play in.
Brielle gives the group Melee and Diplomacy.
Since DavidC mentioned Adowyn's bow I will assume she is thinking of playing her. That gives Ranged, Stealth, Divine, and Survival for the Wrath version or Ranged, Divine, and Survival for the Class Deck Version.
And she can start with Nirmathas Longbow in her deck as well as Leryn, her animal pet.
Personally, I am thinking of S&S Merisiel for Acrobatics, Disable, Stealth and Craft for some barrier fun.
Or, Mother Myrtle for some Alchemist fun and she can go both Divine and Arcane.
Or an Arcane Caster of some type, again depending on what others do.

You get a single die reroll for owning any paizo item per game. Plus, you bank hero points which allow the reroll of the entire dice pool.
And with the CORE to PRE-CORE conversion you gain a hero point for every successful scenario completion. They are used to upgrade Card, Power, and Skill feats in the order of your choice. (Limit once per scenario level). Anything else is banked as a re-roll for later (and they carry over level to level).
