Aravashnial sensing the others heading back, shrugs. "There is safety in numbers. Let us finish our business here so that we may leave this place."
Between the two of them, they manage to make it back down the ladder and join the rest of the group.
Pulling the heavy table and whatnot out of the way of the hole, you find that the air in this cavern smells of damp and mold. Water glistens on the walls, and collects in a stagnant pool along one wall.
The once secured rope ladder lays on the ground 40ft below, seemingly undisturbed since Tak had cut it.

Tak takes out 50 ft of rope, ties off one end to what anchored the ladder and drops the loose end down the hole. Looking at Darius expectantly he asks, "Who's first?"

Being the seasoned adventurers that they are...ish... Tak had wisely knotted the rope prior to dropping it and everyone was able to safely make it down, with Salvatore levitating the two injured folks as well.
Darius heads to the door and is able to open it. There are a few mongrelmen inside the room, two with clubs draw (teal and purple), as well as a red skinned humanoid (yellow), and finally, the female mongrelman has her bow drawn and ready to fire (white), loosing the pointed bit of wood as Darius comes into view.

The woman in the other room pulls out a wand and speaks the words of power to activate it. Wisps and shadows form together ahead of Darius into the shape of a glaive, which then tries to stab at him.

ok, my tracker got messed up along the way. oops. purple and teal do their thing, then tak, walmir, and darius. in the following round, sal moved in, provoked from teal, then cast provoking from red. grizst moved up (technically since aravash cast a spell on you, you'd go after him, but it was my fault for losing track of things, so, not changing the order there. then red attacked sal, which would bring us to teal, i've fixed the tracker, but will allow walmir to act before him this round since i was the one that goofed so hard here >.< sorry folks...
