Posting Standards: I'll assume that we're all familiar with common posting standards here on the boards, so I won't reiterate those.
Although I may forget at times, my intention is to place a GM spoiler at the beginning of every post. These are not to be looked in. The point of the spoiler is to give me to roll dice privately, keep notes on monster status or other hidden events or to simply hide the fact that I am not rolling dice at all.
If there is a character death or a similarly serious event, I will give you permission to look in those spoilers so we can double-check all the math. Otherwise, they are forbidden for you.
Also, when posting your actions please include all of your relevant modifiers separately. The specific formatting isn't terribly important, but rolling your dice as:
6/8 rounds of unchained rage remaining, power attack, flanking
[dice=Attack]1d20+10+2-1+2[/dice]
[dice=Damage]2d6+9+2+3[/dice]
or
[dice=Power Attack, Rage, Flanking]1d20+10-1+2+2[/dice]
[dice=Damage]2d6+9+3+2[/dice]
is far better than:
[dice=Attack]1d20+13[/dice]
[dice=Damage]2d6+14[/dice]
Ugh...that didn't look the way I wanted it to in this space. Hopefully you get the idea.
We don't want to slow down the game for me to figure out what you did. Note that I don't require you to break down where the initial +10 came from (bab, strength, weapon focus & enhancement bonus probably) if those values will always apply. Even if you always apply power attack, please declare it each time.
Similarly, if your character is casting a spell, I'm all for people giving fancy descriptions of what your character is doing. I do insist that you actually say what spell is being cast, however. Please include the DC or other check needed if necessary, although I can look up what the results of a saving throw will be myself.
