this is an episodic adventure where the party is part of a pirate crew and travels the world in search of plunder and fame. At this point the captain is a nonplayer character unless one of the party wants the job.
you've been hired by one of the free captains of the shackles. A man named Darren von Midgard. A pirated who is also an explore and historians he seeks to study ancient cultures and find relics of the world's past. He is willing to use any means necessary in the pursuit of history even if that means making war on another nation while he is not a priest he does follow and look to the pirate Queen for guidance in his quest to learn as much about the past as he possibly can he is very diplomatic in the way he runs the ship. He values the opinions of those traveling with him and holds a vote to determine the world tapestry is course for the most part unless he knows there is some rare artifact or site of historical significance close by. He really doesn't care where the ship takes him just as long as she continues sailing.
