you know there are 2 east wall and 2 west wall. 2 gatehouse roof and 2 at the exit down the road. you have no idea how many are with blackerly playing and gambling. So yes, 8 that you know of on duty and some unknown off duty.

As I saw it, the stairs were running along side of the room (though I may have imagined them longer than they are, and I'm under/leaning on them so I don't have them in my range right?

The doors leading into the towers are not as wide as the wall. I had you hiding in the side of the room in the shadows. If you want to hide on the stairs go ahead but the only thing is that you are 10ft(or more if you want to) away from the guards who are just at the 10ft. wide entrance.

we are in 23-25 on the warden tower map and the red dot are the two antagonists, yes?


no GM said no map, that was the fight with the warden and the dot was the flaming sphere. I wish everyone paid more attention so we could keep this game moving.

no its not one person, it seems everyone has got caught up, the only people that seem to post daily are me and the GM. I just have been in a lot of failed games and this is how it starts. I was excited for this one b/c everyone selected had a high post count so maybe there are just RL things going on and we will get back on track.

yeah that would suck, double digits in WotW submissions and it dies before we even leave the prison X(


I for one would stick it out if we need to recruite replacements. I like Cole and his dark backstory and I like DM Repentance's style and that he is willing to work with the hole vampire and other paths of power down the line. I don't like that he rolls so well to spoil all my plans :)

as the designated healer of the party (because cole is stingy :P) it's sometimes a good thing that I be at the bottom of initiative

as a note, was the one I hit guard 1 or 2, I assume 2 but it's best to ask

It seems stingy now, he won't always be this way, but we don't have enought capable fighters to waste it on the ones that can't wield weapons early on. Now if we escape and say someone is unconcious sure I would heal them so I don't have to carry them :)

I do love gestalt, what would I go with, Antipaladin would be awesome for the ultimate warpriest, Bard would also be cool especially if GM allowed the Dawnflower Dervish, they normally need to worship Sarenrae. Oracle or Sorcerer would be cool too. So many options. :)

I'd go either sorcerer, Dread (psionic fear class), or death mage
I just realized you don't get 1-1 bab as a warpriest,
you are our front line melee, so yes I'd say antipaladin would be better for you,
if you went bard I'd suggest Arcane Duelist

Before making such a wind maybe keep the discussions out of the gameplay thread, because i really think that breaks immersion a lot. If there´s 5+ posts rules discussion in gameplay, that takes out a lot of fun and makes it really difficult to follow what´s actually going on.

Also this game surely won´t die down.

For some reason, I thought we weren't on the wall with the sentries. My mistake.

Additionally, given the varied nature of our timezones, may I suggest an us/them posting order with whichever group going first, and then the actions sorted into initiatives if necessary? I work late, and am coming down with something, so I may not be able to check the thread before I'm faceplanting into a pillow some days.

I don't mind anyone posting out of order or even before the guards if you are about to go to bed or be busy or what have you. Post the actions you would take and I will summarise at the end of each round.

Kana is casting Daze on the guard that spoke in the surprise round and since it´s a free cantrip she will just do the same in the next round^^
Because that means one out of two guards can´t do anything probably.

Too used to seeing summaries marking in the end of the round. Just add in another attack and damage for her, please: Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21, Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10(Forgot to add in the +1 for 2-handing a weapon)

Thank you for patience. I had been waiting for Wade to make first move because my splash weapon takes those nasty penalties for soft cover/throwing into combat. To further complicate that, a coworker of mine at work had to stay home most of last week so I had to work her job and mine. Hoping they can make it back to work this week. Even so, the massive amount of catch up work is much smaller now and I will be able to continue posting. Just too many things all at once I missed a couple days.

heh, I do have the str for front lining, but not the con or dex, later when my vamp powers manifest more fully this'll change, but for now frontlining is dangerous. I'm the only one who can heal me and declan so I'm going to need to stay conscious, it's kinda vital
when we leave here I'm going to retrain my oracle revalation from the armor (I haven't even used it yet) to the death's touch power, if I had a d6+1 healing for the two of us 8 times I wouldn't need to ration the d8+1 healing for you guys

Not sure if you mean 1 round of performance affects surprise and first round. I dont think it works like that.

Remember to account bardic bonuses into your rolls guys.

I do have a question, though. Have you thought about posting the statblocks for what we're fighting in spoilers? That way, we could make the rolls and continue writing without waiting for a confirm through you (unless you have special tweaks or something in store). The DM is doing it in the WoR campaign I'm in on these boards.

Then again, you are giving us a description of their armor which lets us guess within one or two points... *shrug* Just a thought.

I'm not sure about putting up stats. But for these guards I will. Their AC is 17 with shield and armour. 11 touch.
