Erine grimaces. "I say we get out of this city and, erm, 'seek external aid'."
By which I mean, 'get as far away from this city as possible'.

KenderKin
I have been snowed in since the weekend first day back!
Thos leads you into some chambers under the city soon enough this one looks like it goes straight down and then straight back up in what one could characterize as a large subterrainian "V" shaped tunnel. The top of the V opens out to the area just beyond the walls. Thos recovers the opening and bids you farewell.
As you head towards the local druids for aid and you are headed down the steep slope.....
Once you pass the wall and the town is behind you. A growling and barking noise greets you. A pack of hellhounds has been patrolling the area outside and they have caught your scent on the wind.

Broccan is convivnced the creatures are a pair of shadow mastiffs that are alone (no handlers), he is also fairly certain that if the baying were closer that his hair would be standing on end.

You catch a glimpse of the two large slender built dogs at the rise of the ridge as you make it to the bottom, you enter the forest and find a gathering of druids....
A druidic holy site and druidic circle maintains a place here, why they are there is unknown. As you approach the area you see a series of stones arranged in a circle, within the circle two elderly humans, a man and woman in simple robes speak in front of an assortment of younger initiates.
”Welcome brothers!” calls out the two in unison as you approach.

The man points at the gout of flame shooting skywards...
"We have a bit of trouble ourselves, we have a most cranky giant lizard who keeps coming around. Each time we make ourselves invisible to him, but sooner or later he is going to accidentally squash someone...."
"If you could help us with that we can help you with your problem as well....what do you say?"

KenderKin
"The thing is just so ill tempered and mean we have tried and tried befriending it, or scaring it away but it will not go."
The description of the giant lizard, tall, large jaws, hind legs that it walks upright on and two very small arms leaves little doubt that the druids are asking you to take on a T-Rex..... ;)

I won't hurt none of mother children, unless it really does threaten your very lives." he continues, in a more serious tone.
He scratches his chin, and sneezes into a dirty grey and red handkerchief, "If its that big, perhaps Sanstree you can use your mighty magic and shrink it into something small that won't hurt these fine people."

KenderKin
As you are talking a sudden vibration in the ground is the first thing you sense that something might be amiss. The druids look back and forth at each other.
"The great lizard comes, quickly decide fight or hide yourselves!"
The druids begin casting spells over the group of youngsters....

Canvy calls on Gorum's might to protect him as he takes out his weapon and moves towards the giant reptile, taking his falchion out and holding it ready to attack. At his words his armor sprouts thousands of tiny iron spikes, like porcupine quills.
The targeted suit of armor or shield sprouts thousands of tiny iron spikes like porcupine quills. These do not harm the armor’s wearer (though donning or removing armor under the effects of this spell takes twice as long), but they act as armor spikes or shield spikes (as appropriate). Any creature attacking the wearer with natural weapons takes 1 point of piercing damage for each attack that hits. At 5th level, the spikes gain a +1 enhancement bonus on attack and damage rolls; this bonus increases to +2 at 10th level. At 15th level, the spikes also gain the anarchic weapon quality.

Hey, it was that or Magic Missile. This thing's saves are nuts.
