out of combat
The gigantic mirror cracks from top to bottom, showering the ground with shards of glass. Dark gray mist, churning like boiling water, seeps from the fissures and forms a shadowy cloud. "Fated, that one. Bound in threads not of her making, impotently thrashing against them and yet — as long as they tug, she dances." The voice, coarse and ancient, emanates from a feminine silhouette now visible within. Far taller than any human, she shakes her head and sets her wild mane of hair dancing between her jagged horns. "She dances on and on, and there you are — running behind her. But who, they ask, threaded the strings?" The silhouette raises one arm, holding aloft a familiar-looking lantern burning with a cold blue light.
"Introductions now, I suppose. I am Aslynn." Her tone is heavy with amusement. "I am the weaver, the maker, an inveterate taker. Here I am, dreamers. What now?"

Galandaro stays to the back and out of the line of any possible attack as he is unsure what to make of this new development.

Merisiel looks very curious about the spirit in front of her, and asks many questions: "Are you 322? Who created you? Who sent you to kill Aram Zey? Why did you rebelled against them?"
The rogue then points to the lantern, "what this lantern exactly does? Aram Zey's soul is imprisoned there?"

"I'm not 322. 322 is gone. Away from those who would harm her, for now. She has a role yet to play in what is to come, but, venomous serpents are ever so persistent, aren’t they?
322 rebells against her creators.. They made her who she is, not realizing who she could become. Then they marvel at their own shortsightedness. How amusing. I did not kill Zey, but his soul is in my lantern. My little light has a much longer part to play in the events to come." Aslynn answers.

![]() |

Merisiel was increasingly intrigued.
"Well, you're not 322. So, you were 322? If not, who is 322? Who created 322? Who sent 322 to kill Aram Zey? Where is 322 now?"
The rogue stops for awhile...
"And why Zey's soul is in your lantern, after all? What events are you talking about?"

"322 is an experiment, the Serpents used her to kill Zey. Created by the Creators, players on our stage who have been here far longer than you Pathfinders have ever realized. Events you too will play a part in, soon. But neither here, nor now. I sent 322 to another dimension where she's safe from her pursuers. Oh child, this is neither the time nor the place to release Zey's soul." Aslynn answers.
Aslynn is a night hag, but what you see here is only a projected image.

![]() |

"You can't free him. Not now." Aslynn answers and starts to disappear.
You have exhausted Aslynn’s information, her smoky form withdraws into her mirror, which turns a matte black color. She allows the dreamscape to collapse, and the world begins to crumble around you and you are forced awake when the last bit of land crumbles under your feet as you fall into the dreamscape mist.
You learned everything Aslynn had and wanted to share, you can't capture 322 or release Zey's soul in this mission.
You awake safe and sound back in the Archive Absentia. Hours have passed while you slept. Second Archivist Qilaus Sandaril has followed you here and is in conversation with Aliyas. He is astounded by the discovery of the Archive Absentia and thanks you for your heroic efforts in subduing the planar disturbance. Aliyas, likewise, thanks you for helping to reunite her with the Forae Logos’s staff, and she intends to carry out her duties for as long as she remains capable of maintaining her spiritual form.
"Kreighton Shaine awaits you I think." Sandaril says.

![]() |

"You're right. We must talk to Mr. Shaine."
If no one objects, I think the party will go to Kreighton Shaine and will tell him everything they discovered.

![]() |

Since I'm sure you are eager to conclude this adventure, I'll just go ahead.
Kreighton Shaine eagerly awaits your findings. He is astounded by your story, especially because you were able to communicate directly with the Aslynn. Armed with knowledge that the lantern now is in the possession of a powerful night hag, the Master of Scrolls seems even more determined than ever to recover Aram Zey’s soul. He and several other planes-savvy Pathfinder begin launching their own inquiries to track Aslynn and the elf 322 before any further harm befalls the deceased Master of Spells.
You have secured critical intelligence in the name of the Pathfinder Society, and your accomplishments will not soon be forgotten. However, the mysterious Creators and the night hag Aslynn are still at large.
In return, Shaine rewards each of you with one of the following items of your choice: a malleable symbol, a lesser ring of revelation, a seducer’s bane, or a voidfrost robe.

![]() |

"What each of these items do?", Merisiel asked to Kreighton Shaine.

![]() |

"This is a malleable symbol. You can transform it to a holy symbol of any deity you worship by concentrating for a minute. You can use this holy symbol as a focus for channeled energy, but not only this. You can alter the channel area to either a 10-foot burst centered anywhere within 30 feet, or a 60-foot line or a 30-foot cone."
"This ring is a lesser ring of revelation. It is a divine item attuned to a particular oracular mystery and containing a revelation associated with that mystery. While wearing the ring, an oracle has access to that revelation and may use it as if she had it as a normal class feature. The oracle must have the appropriate mystery to use the ring, and must meet the level requirements (if any) of the revelation itself."
"This bracelet is called Seducer's bane. It strengthens the wearer against enchantment effects and you are able to sense the real motivations of your foes."
"And the last item is a voidfrost robe. It gives you a good resistance against cold and strengthens your cold spells."

![]() |

"Tis a pity the Creators and the one called Aslynn are still at large. I hope karma catches up with them."
is there another scenario that has Aslynn in it?

Toshiro looks at the voidfrost robe.
"I will take this one. Thank you. We are glad to be of service to the Society!"
