Peperic is going to be the stereotypical "Tanky" paladin. Yes, I realize that makes him sub-optimal....
I am guessing I should go with some armor? wait until I can get to mithral or get some masterwork stuff now and move up later?

I like the empiricist archetype. If my investigator wasn't already level three, I'd take it. (Was actually looking at retrain costs and current ability scores last night to see if it was worth it.)
I like it too. I thought it would be interesting to take a level of Lore Warden to keep up his hp and bab, plus get access to those fun reach and trip weapons.

It really doesn't transfer, per se, but yeah, you just continue to tally the PP and Fame. In your sessions, it will still say Andoran, just like if you had switched factions for some other reason, you earned the past PP as an Andoran faction member, now you will earn it toward the Liberty's Edge, but it in no way diminishes your total Fame, ect..
Is that what you were asking about? Sort of?

Yeah, that's what I was asking, so I don't really transfer the one session over, meaning it's not given to Liberty's edge. That's not as huge of issue for Peperic, since he only had one session, but my ranger..ooof. If he has to change..bleh.

So...I may be playing Peperic wrong.
One of the tenets of a paladin of Iomedae is:
• When in doubt, I may force my enemies to surrender, but I am responsible for their lives.
I thought it meant they are under my protection, someone in an advice thread said I was responsible for what they did after I spared them.
Those two interpretations really change the way I should play. What do you folks think?

I read it as "if I force them to surrender, I'm taking responsibility for the rest of the party not slaughtering them".
But I say play it however you think it should be played.
