-We are using the Medium table of XP and level progression.
-I am lenient on encumbrance. The weight of potions, camping gear and clothing, etc are not counted against you, as long as is doesn't get out of hand. I would say something if I felt this was being taken advantage of.
-Armor and Weapon proficiency rules still apply for Arcane Spell Failure, AC and Touch AC, etc.
-Not all magical items are available from shops at all times. Sometimes the wands and staves will have fewer charges than a new in box item would have.
When combat begins I will roll Initiative for everyone.
I'll try to provide text that inspires you to make your own checks that apply to you and your situation, as I will not often explicitly tell you which checks to make. Feel free to be creative in the usage of skills, it if makes sense I'll probably go with it.
Maps:
The map of the current area is available from the link in my Current Location description. The map has a letter/number system embedded in it so that we can refer to specific squares.
We use the maps, like the Goblin Hunt Map for combat or exploration and you have the ability to move your player piece on your own. Just use the tool with the Arrow icon on the button to click and drag on the icon. We will have an Initiative order when it comes to combat, and you just need to post what your character does and then move the character where it would be when that happens.
When we're not in combat you are in free movement mode, which means just place your character wherever it would be when you post something, just keep the distances of movement reasonable.
Positioning is quite important, please do make use of the map.
Certain things/secrets/checks rely on positioning. Let's try it this way. Each post you make is one thing that your character does, and place your character on the map where they would be when that post takes place. This could be important if a character is left on their own when a monster decides to start combat.
