Raphael's attack hits the enspelled furnace, blasting its surface with the energy that opposes whatever gives the fell thing life. It smokes and sputters, as if doing an animated interpretation of a real furnace sputtering out its last breaths of heat. Then, it cools, and the horrible visage disappears.
Nice work Raph - 180 XP awarded in campaign thread
Lor-Sinn, however, is not so lucky. With only herself and Barret in the next room, an essence begins to stir. The air of the infirmary is suddenly charged, as if an electrical current buzzed through it. The energy swiftly coalesces into a twisted, nearly skeletal ghost of what looks to be a broken prisoner. The shadowy apparition is a horror to behold, and its eyes flare red with malevolence.
Lor-Sinn and Barret must post make a DC14 Will save or be frightened for the amount of rounds below
Rounds: 1d4 ⇒ 3
New initiative
creature: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 1 = 21
Gur: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
Barret: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20
Liv: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21

Livana moves into the room and hurls her dagger at the now disappearing image of the apparition. The dagger flies through it, hitting nothing, and careens along the far wall. Within seconds, the apparition is no longer visible.
The creature has disappeared, and appears to be incorporeal. Anyone with the scent ability can find it as normal, otherwise a perception check is needed to locate it. Barret, feel free to change your attack as needed

GM Nayr |

Barret leaps forward, tracking the creature by its scent. He charges at the creature, and leaps at it, fangs bared. His body passes through the spot where the creature stood...no, floated perhaps...it was there, certainly - his nose wouldn't guide him wrong, but he couldn't touch it.
By Barret's estimation, this creature is definitely incorporeal, and normal attacks will not affect it. Raphael, Lor-Sinn, and Gur are up

Gur |

Gur walks out, seeing that the party seems to be having massive issues with yet another creature of the ghostly kind, decides that it might be time to retreat and collect new means of fighting. "We need better weapons for this, we should run."

Raphael Delacroix |

Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21 trying to find the specter
if found disrupt undead: 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 3 + 1 = 11
1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
”I agree for now we need to retreat and find a better strategy for this place.“ Raphael says as he flings another bolt of energy where he believes the specter to be.

Lor-Sinn Imass |

Holding her hammer in front of her protectively, Lor-Sinn takes a step forward to come up next to Raphael. She reaches out a hand experimentally to try and find the creature.
Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
If found...
Attack, with Smite Evil: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
Damage: 1d12 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17

Gur |

perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
Gur sits put, as he is not able to either see nor affect this creature. His planned choice of actions being to head for the nearest exit when the rest of the party has decided on their course of action.

Liv is up again, just before the creature. Let me know the plan
Though nothing odd in the room can be seen, a strange feeling of presence, or electrical charge, can be felt within. Suddenly, a rusted old scalpel flies off one of the steel tables at Lor-Sinn.
Ranged attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 4
Lor-Sinn easily dodges the blade, which careens off the wall with a clatter
