Scarab Sages

Female N Half-Orc Skald/2- HP 15 - AC 17/T:11/FF:16 - Perception: -2, dark vision 60ft - Fort: +6, Ref: +3, Will: +4; +4 vs. bardic performance and Sonic or language-dependent effects - CMB: +4, CMD 15 - Speed 20 ft. - Init. +1

I guess the readied attack would hit Ledford?

longbow, readied attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10 for piercing: 1d8 ⇒ 7

I assume that's a miss, even against a raging barbarian and no soft cover penalty.

Scarab Sages

Female halfling warpriest 2 HP 17/17 | AC 18, T 14, FF 15 | Fort +4, Ref 3, Will +5 (+2 vs. fear) | Init +3 | Perception +8, Low-light vision | Blessings 3/3, Fervor 2/3 | Active conditions: Divine Favor, Shield of Faith

"Ah, that is the brave one," Amba taunts the creature hiding in the mist. To the three figures engaging them, she snorts "He lets you die, and probably takes most of your gains for himself. Yes?"

Seeing how the fighting is in close quarters and she cannot reach the halfling, Amba opts to draw her whip instead. Aiming it along the building wall, right besides Seleena and Jidai, she attempts to snare the halfling's leg in the whip.

Draw whip, attempt to trip the halfling. +2 from the whip quality and -4 for cover included

Trip: 1d20 + 3 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (18) + 3 + 2 - 4 = 19

Silver Crusade

Human Cleric 1 | HP 10/10 | AC 17; Tch 11; FF 16 | F +1; R +1; W +6 | CMB+0; CMD 11 | Speed 30 ft | Init +1 | Unarmed Strike: +4 (1d3+1) | Perc +3

Cleric in the front taking all the attacks! OUch!

Jidai finds herself in a disadvantageous position facing the full force of the enemy's attacks, and it is all she can do to try to punch the halfling in the face.

Unarmed strike attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 141d3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Scarab Sages

Female halfling warpriest 2 HP 17/17 | AC 18, T 14, FF 15 | Fort +4, Ref 3, Will +5 (+2 vs. fear) | Init +3 | Perception +8, Low-light vision | Blessings 3/3, Fervor 2/3 | Active conditions: Divine Favor, Shield of Faith

Jidai, if you're worried about standing on the front lines, you might take a change and move away after your attack. The halfling should be prone, so there's probably very little chance for the AoO to hit you. The drawback is that he could just stand up on his turn without repercussion, if he's not engaged.

GM, everything ok?

Silver Crusade

Human Cleric 1 | HP 10/10 | AC 17; Tch 11; FF 16 | F +1; R +1; W +6 | CMB+0; CMD 11 | Speed 30 ft | Init +1 | Unarmed Strike: +4 (1d3+1) | Perc +3

Well, that's true, but at the same time, we have a very caster-centric party and I've got one of the higher ACs... I'll stick it out.

Scarab Sages

Female N Half-Orc Skald/2- HP 15 - AC 17/T:11/FF:16 - Perception: -2, dark vision 60ft - Fort: +6, Ref: +3, Will: +4; +4 vs. bardic performance and Sonic or language-dependent effects - CMB: +4, CMD 15 - Speed 20 ft. - Init. +1

this GM is very, very slow. I'm pretty sure he's fine.

Hey all! My laptop crashed over the weekend and I am currently catching everything up. Expect all games to be caught up/updated/reported in less than 4 hours. And thanks for understanding Seleena. I'm usually not this slow, but the last four or so months have been pretty brutal.

Round 1
Seleena-Readies, Misses
Huckleberry- Puts considerable damage on a Halfling!

Ledford- (10) Charges, misses!

Kaeldra-Magic Missile!
Amba- Trips the Barbarian!
Jidai- (2) Misses!

Amba's whip finds the halfling's ankles, and down he goes! Everyone else misses, and the voice from the mist barks back at you in an annoyed voice.
Why does everyone just assume I'm a man? Can't a woman lead a group of warriors as well?

Kaeldra just smirks at the voice and looses a blast of energy at the voice, prompting a yelp of pain!
Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Seleena and Huckleberry up for Round 2!

Scarab Sages

Huckleberry'll can't load his rifle without provoking, so he'll load his rifle anyways, loading it up quickly with a paper cartridge, he'll fire a shot down the alleyway.

Rifle + PBS - Deadly Aim: 1d20 + 5 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (12) + 5 + 1 - 1 = 17
Damage + PBS + DA: 1d12 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 1 + 2 = 6

Silver Crusade

Jidai kicks the prone halfling, but he's quick and small, making him a difficult target.

Unarmed strike attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 111d3 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Huckleberry, you don't provoke because the corner counts as hard cover, and also the Halfling is prone in that square. However...

Huckleberry peeks around the corner just in time to see Jidai miss the prone Halfling, and fires his rifle, killing the barbarian with his shot. Seleena's arrows find just as much purchase in the human who threw the dagger, and he falls, gurgling on his own blood before laying still, and not breathing.

The spellcaster in the back fires another ray of acid at Jidai!
Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

The other person comes charging out from the mist, and swings her shortsword at Jidai with a shrill cry!
You'l pay for that! I'll kill you all!
Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
She hits, dealing a grievous wound to the cleric! Jidai falls, and the bandit grins.
Who's next? You should've just left your stuff like we asked!

Kaeldra responds by stepping forward, over Jidai's body, and reaching out to touch the Bandit, her hand crackling with energy!
Touch Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 1

She lands a solid blow, but the energy doesn't seem to affect the bandit much....

Round 2
Seleena- Kills Larkin
Huckleberry- Kills Ledford

Halli- Cats another Acid Ray, hits!
Deandre- (6) Charges out of the mist, attacks Jidai!

Kaeldra- Shocking Grasp, it's not very effective...
Amba-
Jidai- (14 HP, dying)

Amba up!

Scarab Sages

Female halfling warpriest 2 HP 17/17 | AC 18, T 14, FF 15 | Fort +4, Ref 3, Will +5 (+2 vs. fear) | Init +3 | Perception +8, Low-light vision | Blessings 3/3, Fervor 2/3 | Active conditions: Divine Favor, Shield of Faith

Amba steps up, past Seleena, as she draws the elven blade from the sheath on her back. She takes a protective stance over Jidai. "You think this is funny?" she asks the bandit. "See how you like this..." With that, she slices has sword, low to high, at the grinning woman.

Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15
Damage: 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

Silver Crusade

Human Cleric 1 | HP 10/10 | AC 17; Tch 11; FF 16 | F +1; R +1; W +6 | CMB+0; CMD 11 | Speed 30 ft | Init +1 | Unarmed Strike: +4 (1d3+1) | Perc +3

Ouch.

Grand Lodge

HP: 12/12 |AC:17 T:14 FF:13,| CMD: 14 | Fort: +4, Refl: +6, Will: +2 | Perc: +6, Init: +4, Speed 30ft 2 of 2/day Grit left, CG Human Musket Master 1, Battered Rifle +6, 1d12 (20/x4)

Oh cool, I'll shoot this bird too, though she is in melee now, makes it harder to hit so no deadly aim!

Huckleberry'll load his rifle again, swearing at the never ending enemies pouring from the mist, and level it in the girls face before firing.

Attack + PBS - melee: 1d20 + 5 + 1 - 4 ⇒ (16) + 5 + 1 - 4 = 18
Damage: 1d12 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8

"Ya betta run soon,"

Shades of Ice GM Evil's Signup Sheet

Huckleberry's shot hits the cleric right in the chest, bringing her to the ground with the rest of her allies. The spellcaster in the back doesn't even seem to notice, as she laughs gleefully and readies herself to cast another acid ray...

Seleena Flurry: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21
Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 2

Seleena Flurry: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18
Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 8

But Seleena's arrows drop her to the ground as well. None of the would be bandits are dead outright, and can be healed to keep them alive as you take them to justice. Jidai is easily able to be brought back as well, and after taking care of that, you are finally able to report back to Venture Captain Valsin. He thanks you, and lets out a chuckle at your description of events.
Very few missions for the Pathfinder Society involve busy work like today. You did well, though, and that earns my repsect. I'll keep you in mind when I need agents who aren't afraid to get work done.

After the short congratulation speech, you are sent off, to wherever you spend your free time.

/end scenario

Well, that's it guys! I am extremely sorry that real life slowed me down so much! I like to aim for at least one post a day, and should you choose to play in any of my future games, that will be the case. Thanks for playing, and I am in the process of reporting and getting the chronicles up now.

Thanks so much for running that, and no worries on the relaxed pace. I'm glad I survived!
