This is the online element of a table-top game.
As an experiment, I'm going to use the board game to issue clues and leads, which players may pursue when able. That way, I myself may be surprised from time to time by what happens, and the players can choose what leads they wish to follow up on prior to playing irl.
Note: When talking IC with each other, you are probably not actually present to talk. Keep IC chat formatted as telegrams, messages delivered by hand, letters, post-cards, etc.
