Door at the top of the stairs.

This small space lies along the edge of the dome and beneath stairs which seem to lead further up into the cupola. It is cramped and crowded with many boxes of old personal paraphernalia, now ruined and worthless.

Eleric spools a book, wrapped in a blanket labelled the Book of Abstruse Geometries. It appears to be written in an unknown language.

AC:13 T:12F:11| HP 68/68 | CMD:13 | F:+5 R:+4 W:+10| Init:+7 | Perc: +21, Dark

Eleric will fiddle with his books and rings then cast comprehend languages and see if that helps comprehension.

Eleric, you can tell that the book is written in Azlanti. It appears to detail the secrets of dimensions and spaces beyond understanding, including hints of the vistas found there and the creatures that dwell within.

To fully study the book would take a minimum of 56 hours spread over a 7 day period.

Sorry for my absence, had to get a new PC

This room has weathered the years better than the rest of the house, as wooden shutters remain closed over the windows, keeping most of the elements out. A low hearth stands in one wall, over which hangs an elegantly rendered painting of a tall ship in the midst of a storm. ...You are not a brute ruled by violent impulses...Ortensia...Gather yourself. You are a gentlewoman first, and an adventurer second.
