Aspis Consortium Open Roleplay (Inactive)

Westcrown. Some may call it a den of thieves and liars. Others may see it as nothing more than a stepping stone on the path to greatness. Others still, call the city home and find both comfort and solace within its shadows. The Aspis Consortium is one such organization that has planted its roots within Westcrown and you, a new Aspis Agent, have found your way here for one reason or another. Upon entry within the city, you are told that if you ever need a place to stay, there is a tavern by the docks owned by another Agent.

Without much trouble, you find it: Twilight's Edge Tavern. Even in this filthy city, this establishment seems to be untouched by the grime of everyday life. Upon closer inspection, however, you find that the tavern shows states of being relatively brand new; not much furniture, fresh stonework, and the scent of a fine brew wafting around the air.

By the counter, you see a tiefling in relatively comfortable silk clothing, leaning back against a wall lined with fine liquors. He gives you a short nod and grabs a glass from behind with with one swift motion of his tail. "My first customer! How can I help you friend?"

How does leveling up/the tier system work?:

As of right now, it is quite simple!

Bronze Tier: Levels 1-8
Silver Tier: Levels 9-17
Gold Tier: Levels 18+

In order to gain a level, one must participate in writing events! Write poetry or prose featuring your character (preferably acting as an Aspis Agent of their station would, helping out on a job... you know!) Each poem gives you 1/3rd of a level while each prose piece (of at least 1000 words) levels you up automatically. This does make it seem like a bit of a writing group, which it can be, but doesn't have to be. If you fancy yourself more of a roleplayer than a writer, than the Discussion/Gameplay forums are more up your alley.
