you are all childhood friends who know nothing but the town you grew up in. the name of this town is something witty, to the east there is ocean and to the west there is the forest of departure. this is a small town without any technology, you don't really know what technology is or what it does but you have herd that other places have this technology. the mayor of this village received a letter requesting a hearty band of adventurers to come through the forest and to a place called the sign-up board, and you have been elected these adventurers, you are now in the village tavern saying your last good byes leaving with nothing but the clothes on your back and your most prized possession (message me what you would like this to be it can not be a weapon)
