Visas Marr (Male Miraluka Jedi 5)

Kwava

I'm not sure if I can get anything at this range or not, but here's my attempt: Use the Force - 14 + 10 = 24.

Visas remains silent, his head inclined in thought as he searches the Force for a sign.

Visas Marr (Male Miraluka Jedi 5)

Kwava

"Why don't we consult a star map and simply go to the nearest one? It seems as good a place to start as any."

Visas Marr (Male Miraluka Jedi 5)

Kwava

"Either the Jedi master we are seeking is no longer here... or he is trying very hard to hide himself. I sense... something else as well. I sense the Dark Side nearby, though I cannot say where. Stay alert."

Visas Marr (Male Miraluka Jedi 5)

Kwava

Visas raises a hand to signal the others to stop. He scrutinizes the immediate area, attempting to look into the Force to find the master they seek.

Use the Force to see if there are other Force-users nearby: 7 + 10 = 17.

Visas Marr (Male Miraluka Jedi 5)

Kwava

"Yes, let us move along. I have no desire to wait here for the welcoming party." Visas takes the hilt of his lightsaber in hand but does not ignite it. He follows closely behind Veeta, also keeping an eye out for danger.

Perception: 18 + 10 = 28.

Visas Marr (Male Miraluka Jedi 5)

Kwava

The Jedi shoulders his meagre equipment and follows the others.

Visas Marr (Male Miraluka Jedi 5)

Kwava

"Agreed, though this is far more your area of expertise than mine."

Visas Marr (Male Miraluka Jedi 5)

Kwava

Sorry, lots of crazy stuff happening IRL at the moment. Getting ready for a move across the country.

Visas reflexively gasps as the ship lurches forward but quickly steels himself, swiveling the turret around to continue firing at the pursuers.

Another shot: 5 + 7 = 12. Probably a miss.

Visas Marr (Male Miraluka Jedi 5)

Kwava

‹Fatespinner rolls dice› 5d10x5 » + 1 + 4 + 9 + 2 + 7 [x5] = 115

Visas Marr (Male Miraluka Jedi 5)

Kwava

Visas lurches wildly as the ship heaves and spirals, but he steels himself against distraction and attempts to clear their tail. Taking another shot at the closest pursuer. 16 + 7 = 23.

Visas Marr (Male Miraluka Jedi 5)

Kwava

Visas quickly flips on the turret's controls and takes aim at the nearest fighter, releasing a burst of fire.

Attack: 19 + 7 = 26. I don't know what the damage on these turrets is or if I'm even making the correct attack roll here, so I'll let the DM correct me if I'm wrong.

Visas Marr (Male Miraluka Jedi 5)

Kwava

Init: 17 + 8 = 25.

Visas quickly heads for one of the turrets since he couldn't pilot his way out of a wet paper sack.

"Years of living on the run from the Emperor's spies have taught me how to cloak myself, and others, in the Force. While it does not actually make us invisible, it will permit us to pass by groups of soldiers undetected. As for my more... tactical applications of the Force, I am sufficiently well trained to adapt to many situations."

Visas Marr (Male Miraluka Jedi 5)

Kwava

"I was very young when the others and I fled the Temple, but I was trained by some of the older Jedi while in exile. I consider myself to be a Jedi, even if no such formal title was bestowed upon me by one of the Masters. I am also versed in the use of my lightsaber, something that many amateurs cannot claim," the blind man smiles slightly.

Visas Marr (Male Miraluka Jedi 5)

Kwava

"Very well. I suppose we have a lot of time on our hands then," he smiles. "My name is Visas Marr. I am... or, perhaps, was a Jedi."

Visas Marr (Male Miraluka Jedi 5)

Kwava

"Ah, good thought. I hadn't really thought to bring my own survival gear. I assumed that our patrons would be providing us with such provisions since we were not given much in the way of mission intelligence," he turns his head to look at Leia and the others. "As for weaponry, I believe I have that well in hand."

The man bears with him a small traveling bag, no larger than would be expected for a casual tourist.

Visas Marr (Male Miraluka Jedi 5)

Kwava

"Blood Eagle, hm? I hope this is not an omen," the blind man says flatly. "Still, I am sure she is a fine ship. Let us be on our way if time is of the essence. I have everything I need."

Visas Marr (Male Miraluka Jedi 5)

Kwava

"We have reason to believe that other surviving Jedi may have made some kind of pilgrimmage to this place, then? If Master Yoda is truly dead, then do we know of any others he instructed there?"

Visas Marr (Male Miraluka Jedi 5)

Kwava

The young man scratches his chin. "Hmm, I must confess no familiarity with the system myself, though Astrometrics was never my strong suit. Regardless of that fact, if this is what the Rebellion needs, then I am ready to lend my aid to the cause. What type of planet is it and what do we know of its inhabitants?"

Visas Marr (Male Miraluka Jedi 5)

Kwava

Visas smiles as the droid enters. "Excellent. And where exactly are we headed, then?"

It bears mentioning that Visas understands Binary.

"If we're all here, let's start talking objectives," Veeta says. "I assume we'll be engaging Imperial targets, or is there something else going on, your Highness?"

"Yes," the young blind man says. "I wish to know the details of our assignment. I will admit to some curiosity when I received the message of our meeting."

Visas Marr (Male Miraluka Jedi 5)

Kwava

Visas inclines his head at the Princess's entrance and nods at her announcement. "It would be an honor, Princess."

He stands, smiling to those around him. "If we are to be working together, I think introductions are in order. I am Visas Marr."

He waits patiently for the others to answer, remaining standing as he scans the room.

Visas Marr (Male Miraluka Jedi 5)

Kwava

A young, blind man stands quietly in the foyer, dressed in common clothing. His head turns and scans the room as a sighted person's would, yet the man is clearly blindfolded by a strip of dark cloth.

He bears a travelling cloak, an unusal accessory for such an event, and appears weathered with dust from the road. He appears to carry no weapons on his person and is certainly not armored. After a few moments pass, he finds himself a seat with surprising ease and sits down, smiling to those near him.

Visas Marr (Male Miraluka Jedi 5)

Kwava

Mine's all set (hopefully).

Hey Fatespinner - Looks like you went 2 points over on abilities - you're at 32 points, rather than 30 (I did the same thing the first time through). But you also shorted yourself your 2 bonus feats from Jedi levels 2 and 4.

You're right. Forgot about those, and my math was a tad off. I've fixed it now. Two feats are a big difference!

Visas Marr (Male Miraluka Jedi 5)

Fatespinner here. Managed to slap something together since I got my books back. Couldn't really find a Miralukan-appropriate avatar, so just ignore the eyes and the pointed ears and you've basically got the character's facial structure at least. :)

Let me know if there's any problems or stuff you need cleared up on the character. I should be all set.

I blame Gluttony. He's supposed to be in charge of Necromancy.

What? Since when? Hmmm... well, that would explain why that book was so dry. I needed like 6 gallons of water to get it down. Didn't even taste that good.

Kwava

Yes.. this website is a fine place to start. I'll begin by devouring all the bandwidth!!!

*burp*

Mmmmm.... data packets. Needs ketchup.

Hrm. Looks like Sloth was too lazy to put this thread in the right forum. Bah. I'll be sure to eat his next post.
