About Quiznab

Description:

At a distance Quiznib could be mistaken for a small human child with a shock of wild straw blond hair. Up close he's unmistakably a Gnome, with a curios birthmark on his left cheek resembling a stylized lightning flash. His brown eyes sparkle with intelligence and delight. Beyond a small dagger, Quiznab has no obvious weapons, and is wearing comfortable outdoor clothes.

Character:
Quiznab is a cheerful and industrious little gnome. His life long passion has been magic in all it's forms although Illusion is his forte. He is fiercely loyal to his friends but slow to trust tall races who tower over him so.

Wayfinder (1 @ 0 lbs) A small magical device patterned off ancient relics of the Azlanti, a wayfinder is typically made from silver and bears gold accents. With a command word, you can use a wayfinder to shine (as the light spell). The wayfinder also acts as a nonmagical (magnetic) compass, granting you a +2 circumstance bonus on Survival checks to avoid becoming lost. All wayfinders include a small indentation designed to hold a single ioun stone. An ioun stone slotted in this manner grants you its normal benefits (as if it were orbiting your head), but frequently reveals entirely new powers due to the magic of the wayfinder itself (see Seeker of Secrets page 51).

Background:

Quiznab was borne by, accident rather than design, in Falcon's Hollow, his parents didn't linger in that sad place and found Almas to be far more welcoming home. Quiznab inherited his love of magic from his father, and rapidly learnt more than he could teach. At a tender age, for a Gnome, Quiznab left home to study magic at the academy. Or at least that was the plan, he never made it to the academy. His caravan was ambushed by brigands and rescued at the 11th hour by the Eagle Knights. Impressed by what he saw, Quiznab decided to join up and has been working on and off with the Andoran military ever since.
