Born into a now extinct minor orc tribe, Keldra was the last living soul when the remains of her tribe was found by a group of adventurers. Galen, the human cleric of the party, and a humble priest of Cayden Cailean, the Drunken Hero, saw the humanity within her and decided to take her under his wing. Commenting to his fellow party members that she reminded him of his Aunt Daisy, he won them over to her cause.
During her days with the party she discovered her ability to call upon the fury of life to add to her great might and stamina in battle.
When age and disease, caused her mentor to leave the party in the hands of a younger priest, she took care of him until his final days. As a parting gift he gave her his blessed bronze tankard.
