Before Combat: Kamau prioritizes stealthy movement, and if given the chance, will hide and ambush to begin combat. If possible, he will hold action and allow the party's heavier-armored fighters, such as Albrekt, to engage first, and Kamau will then move to flank. If the party has sufficient time, Kamau will accept buffs from other partymates if they're offered.
During Combat: Kamau is vicious and aggressive, and will preferentially stay in melee, hounding a single target until dead. If it falls to him to pick the next target (say because his flanking-ally kills the target they're on before Kamau's turn), Kamau will usually move to the closest target to re-engage.
If Kamau is without a melee ally for some reason, or is separated from the party, he will move to attack casters first.
In all cases, Kamau prefers full-attack actions, taking the maximum number of swings with both weapons. Again, fitting his aggression, once out of Stealth, Kamau will charge rather than simply moving to combat range, unless the charge will put him through a row of Attacks of Opportunity.
Morale: Kamau is hard to dissuade from combat, viewing bloodshed as a holy sacrament. He is, however, not a fool, and no part of his combat doctrine requires him to fight to the death. Kamau will withdraw from combat if the party's other melee fighters seem to be doing so. However, as he is also somewhat vindictive, he will take the first chance he gets to use Stealth again, and will attempt to re-engage his foes from ambush if the opportunity presents himself.
Kamau will truly flee a fight if -
*He is outnumbered in melee by 3:1 or more
*He is the sole target of several ranged combatants who are not standing near to one another
*He is reduced below 20% HP, or if it is reasonable that one more round of combat with his opponent will reduce him below 0 HP (i.e. "Kamau has 40 HP, his opponent just hit him for 24, and it could happen again next round.")
3,000: Started at level 3.
