You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Wisdom modifier.

The obviously half-elven young woman stands 5' 6”, with a dusky (almost Vudran-like) skin tone, brilliant purple eyes and silvery-white hair. She has a mark (perhaps a birthmark or tattoo) on her right shoulder that resembles Shelyn's symbol. (Note: she has enhanced the mark with tattooing). She wears her hair long and loose to mid-back, tied in place by a Varisian scarf with the knot on the right. She also has multiple small braids of hair framing her face under the scarf. The braids are died in a rainbow pattern beginning on the right. She is wearing the light armor of the Shelyn temples (polished and enameled copper with Shelyn's symbol surrounded by four roses, one in each traditional color) over a traveling outfit of a gold skirt, a gold sleeveless shirt and gold fingerless gloves starting just above the elbow and enhanced with flowing trim. (See the picture on page 278 of the GMG for the outfit.) The whole outfit is wrapped with a saffron-colored sari embroidered along its edges with roses in green, red, gold and white.

Aadrika Vignari was the only child of Domintor Baingari and his Jalmerayan consort Ragini Kerala. Aadrika is a powerful Harrower who married the head of the Vignari traveling entertainers. She bore him several children, one of whom was Alicianna. When Alicianna was about 16 the troop rescued a stranger from a bandit group. The stranger introduced himself as Professor Petros Lorrimor and profess himeslf as in their debt. Not long after, perhaps in retaliation, the Vignari caravan was attacked and many of its people slain or stolen. Aadrika was able to discover that Alicianna was still alive and contacted Professor Lorrimor to ask for aid in recovering her. The Professor was able to do so, but when he did so it was discovered that she was pregnant by her captors. She died giving birth to the strange child and only her birthmark kept Aliciana's father from slaying the child outright. After a Harrow reading Aadrika took the infant, swaddled in her mother's scarf, to the temple of Shelyn in Ardis and left her there with a note addressed to Professor Lorrimor explaining the situation and one for the temple giving the child's name: Iesha.

Iesha grew up in Ardis and the temple, only partially aware of her history. She believes she has learned to deal with people's reactions to her, however she has had little contact with people outside of the temple. One of the people she did have contact with, however, was Professor Lorrimor, who kept in touch with her and encouraged her that she could always choose to rise above her poor beginning. She came to see him in the light of a father figure and is very depressed at his death.

As for her surname: When she was ordained, the high priest gave her the sobriquet Shadowstar. When she received the notice of Professor Lorrimor's death, she added his first name as a surname.
