Edgar grew up in {insert starting town name} and then began working for the lumber company when he turned thirteen. he was well liked in the town and got along with everyone until the day that he was sent away. When he was 25 Edgar became involved with an underground and very illegal pit fighting gang. He did quite well in these pit fights up until the gang was discovered. because he was in general a good upstanding member of the community the {town leader here} banished him for 10 years. Edgar left that night and has just recently returned from his exile. in his ten years as an exile Edgar spent his time alone in the woods, living off the land. He became quite skilled with his axe by fighting bandits and the like day after day. coming back to town everyone and everything seems foreign and different then when Edgar left.

During his time in exile Edgar lived on the road in solitude but when he got the chance he would find a pit or and arena or something along those lines to test his mettle and keep his instincts sharp. Even now that he has returned he has a strange sense of honor in the way that he fights. preferring to bellow at one enemy across a battlefield and give his all to defeat that one foe.
