About Asekial HollowsAsekial Hollows
Male Passing-Qlippoth-Spawn Slayer (Cleaner) 1
Fiendish Resistance: Tieflings havecold resistance 5, electricity resistance 5, and fire resistance 5. Feat and Skill Racial Traits Skilled: QlippothTieflings gain a +2 racial bonus on Escape artist and Survival checks. Senses Racial Traits Darkvision: Tieflings can see perfectly in the dark for up to 60 feet. Pass for Human: Discrimination against tieflings with horrificallyfiendish features is so intense that even tieflings look up to those precious few of their kind who can pass as human. These tieflings have otherworldly features that are so subtle, they aren't often noticed unless the tiefling points them out (for example, eyes that flash red in the throes of passion, or fingernails that are naturally hard and pointed). Such a tiefling doesn't need to succeed at a Disguise check to appear to be human and count ashumanoid (human) as well as outsider(native) for all purposes (such ashumanoid-affecting spells like charmperson or enlarge person). The tiefling does not automatically gain his associated outsider language (but may select it as a bonus language if his Intelligence score is high enough), and he may not select other racial traits that would grant him obviouslyfiendish features (such as the fiendishsprinter, maw or claw, prehensile tail, scaled skin, or vestigial wings alternate racial traits). This ability alters the tiefling's type, subtype, and languages Soul Seer Rare tieflings have a peculiar sight that allows them to see the state of a creature's soul. They can use deathwatch at will as spell-like ability. This racial trait replaces the spell-like ability and fiendishsorcery racial traits. CLASS ABILITIES
[Errata] A slayer can study an opponent he can see as a move action. The slayer then gains a +1 bonus on Bluff, Knowledge,Perception, Sense Motive, and Survivalchecks attempted against that opponent, and a +1 bonus on weapon attack anddamage rolls against it. The DCs of slayer class abilities against that opponent increase by 1. A slayer can only maintain these bonuses against one opponent at a time; these bonuses remain in effect until either the opponent is dead or the slayer studies a new target. If a slayer deals sneak attack damage to a target, he can study that target as animmediate action, allowing him to apply his studied target bonuses against that target (including to the normal weapon damage roll). At 5th, 10th, 15th, and 20th levels, the bonuses on weapon attack rolls, damage rolls, and skill checks and to slayer DCs against a studied target increase by 1. In addition, at each such interval, the slayer is able to maintain these bonuses against an additional studied target at the same time. The slayer may discard this connection to a studied target as a free action, allowing him to study another target in its place. At 7th level, a slayer can study an opponent as a move or swift action Carrying Capacity:

Description:
The Hollows always been tall folk. Not always quite like Asekial the 4th but it ain't unheard of. Tall as all hell, but skinny too. Not like they t'weren't strong. All knows one has to be strong to be a Hollow.
Asekial for certain has that Hollows look. Eyes all sunk and dark, cheek bones all but sprouting a ridge o horns crosst the face. Gentlemen, when they made the word gaunt, I guarantee a Hollow was on they mind. Like his kin, the boy (as he's gonna be known till Asekial III shuffles off, though he's a might older'n most already) has a pallid flesh, like the sun's some sort of stranger. It hangs on the bones like doing so is some obligatory but superficial thing. His hair, where it be, is dark and course like what a brush might want. Long, wispy and brittle from his head and ever more asprouting from his various other bodily areas. His family ain't known for keepin appearances but on the dead. He wears atop his head a tall, leather cap, passed down from generations of Hollows. Some say one can see death in the face of a Hollows, but most decide that's because of their family job being so direct connected to death itself. Background:
Long as there's been folk, folk been dying, and this town ain't exactly different. Always some poor bastard gotta deal with the dead, whoever they once were. People don't like to think on the Hollows. They do a service, and they serve the throne in their own way. Some rash folk once or twice said the Hollows did more than bury, but they said so for not much longer. The menfolk of the Hollows long been in the final business, that of dealing with the ended. Song or two points to the family business predating the rule of house Thrune, but folk songs is but poems sometimes. Respectful and appreciative don't always add up to relations, so the Hollows mostly keep on their own. They tend to look a might peculiar, but none would relish to admit as such. The Boy, Asekial IV, he's latest to the family business. Big even for a Hollow, but twice as quiet. Some reckoned him for simple but he has taken to the family profession like a fly to death. reliable narration:
The Hollows have indeed been in the business of death for generations. The past two long lived generations controlled a network for the rulers. Asekial has never displayed his father or grandfather's particular set of skills, but he's shown great promise in the more ..."in the field" times. His younger sister is starting to be groomed as the true heir. RP: |
