Before I let Thurston talk about our upcoming scenarios, one quick announcement: the Abomination Vaults Adventure Path is now sanctioned for play! Sanctioning documents and Chronicle Sheets can be downloaded on the product pages or at this direct link. Alright, on with the show!

With PaizoCon coming up in May, this month’s blog update sees us previewing a double-dose of Pathfinder Society goodness, as we’ll be releasing May’s scenarios early for PaizoCon attendees!

The Maid of Anactoria: a mummified body laying on a stone table with a white sheet and roses over the top of them

Art by Marko Horvatin, The Maid of Anactoria

First off, PFS 2-17: Lost Maid of Anactoria by Scott Young has the PCs travel to the nation of Ustalav to investigate a missing “local celebrity” in a small village. There’s more to this story than meets the eye, beginning with the fact that this celebrity is a mummified bog corpse! With little time, and horrific beings stalking the village outskirts, the PCs need to pull out all the stops to solve the disappearance and return the Maid of Anactoria to her home.

A small leshi with a jack o lantern

Art by Chris Bjors, An adorable leshy, what could go wrong?

Next up, PFS 2-18: The Fanciful March of Urwal by Hilary Moon Murphy takes the PCs back to distant Iobaria to help the faction leader of the Verdant Wheel commune with a powerful force. The PCs must attend to Urwal as he enters a dangerous trance in order to reach a mysterious destination. With demonic forces arrayed against them, it’s up to the PCs to pull out all the stops to defend one of the Society’s most important leaders. Also, the ending for this scenario has a pretty shocking reveal that veterans of Pathfinder Society Organized Play won’t want to miss out on!

A Duegar Raider dressed in a dark cloak over chainmail, carrying a pair of manacles in one hand

Art by Tom Ventre, a duergar with a trap

In PFS 2-19: Enter the Pallid Peak by Jacob W. Michaels sends a group of Pathfinders off to the volcanic region of Droskar’s Crag to follow up on a lead from a group of prospectors. Learning of a hidden mountainside entrance that is believed to connect to a sprawling complex, the PCs travel into the mountains to learn exactly what dwells within the Pallid Peak.

Ash Archer, a lizard-like tiefling iruxi holding a bow

Art by Samuel Jr, a tiefling iruxi

In PFS 2-20: Breaking the Storm: Bastion in Embers, author Christopher Wasko begins the wrap-up of the Year of Corruption’s Reach storyline. Directly charged by the Society’s leadership, the PCs travel to Sarkoris to enlist the aid of the Godcaller Nelket and the eidolon Dolok Darkfur of the Farheaven Clan in freeing a Pathfinder leader possessed by a dark spirit. When the PCs arrive, they find Dolok in the midst of a ritual to cleanse a part of the former Worldwound, and must act quickly to protect the Farheaven Clan and complete the ritual.

Watch for previews for our Starfinder Society releases at the end of April!

Unsurprisingly that Leshy illustration is absolutely stealing the show, looking forward to the new scenarios ^^

Please tell Chris Bjors that they knocked it out of the park with that amazing art! I am the most fortunate of Scenario authors to have such an amazing cover!

...Wasn't that the ending of Lost in Flames? :'D Because that sounds like ending of Lost in Flames if anybody in party had one legacy boon

Maybe it is another reveal?

Almost like we needed to make sure that people who didn't have the Legacy Boon would get a chance to experience that lore... ;)

Lots of familiar names up there!

I can't wait to play HMM's scenario with my jack-o-lantern leshy! That cover is too adorable to resist.

Do check out the tags on the scenario. Since it's metaplot, you may want to play it with your characters who are most invested with either Verdant Wheel or metaplot.

Sweet. Can't wait to play and run your adventure Hilary!

For some reason since starting this job I have this problem where my fingers are permanently steepled and I'm always grinning, and I just can't figure out why.

Excellent....

I like the lizard folk :)

Whoever wrote this blog really likes “pulling out all the stops” :p

My only knock on the writeup is that the levels of the adventures is not included in the paragraphs.

I smiled when I saw "Art by Samuel Jr, a tiefling iruxi". I wasn't aware paizo had planar scions on staff!

Both the leshy and the tiefling look great!

How did I miss this last week?

Also, there's a duergar that's very sad you don't all think he's as cute as a leshy. With attitudes like that, he's not going to be a friend...

I know nothing about this poor Duergar, but I plan to make full use of his pent up anger at Paizo Con!
