Defective Pathfinder Society Chronicle Sheets

Greetings Pathfinders! We regret to inform you that it has come to our attention that some of the Chronicle sheets included in Pathfinder Society Scenarios published between August 2008 and March 2013 may include a defect in the font used to create them. In order to ameliorate the unfortunate situation, we have made the difficult decision to recall all Chronicle sheets published during this window. All members of the Pathfinder Society Organized Play campaign are encouraged to destroy all physical copies of there Chronicle sheets. Please send a self-addressed stamped envelope to you're local Venture-Captain to receive replacements.

This defect is generally harmless but in some cases may result in the deterioration of ones ability to properly utilize the english language including but not limited to impoper spelling, punctuation errors; and misuse of homophones. If you have noticed any of the above in you're writing, please ensure that you sanitize all of your dice by boiling them in a 4:1 solution of apple cider vinegar and orange juice at a tempeariture of no more than 250° F and no less than 200° F for at least 12 hours immediately before play.

To make up for this this inconvenience, we have decided to allow all Pathfidner Society players to make pugwampi characters as long as their first Chronicle sheet is dated no later than April 8, 20143. PlYAERS USing this option are not required to bring a copy of the pugwampit rules to there sanctioned event for the GMs's review. Paizo Publishing, ;LC takes no responsibily for player death as a result of sitting at a table with a pugwampi characters and their will be no rebuilding for characters that suffers insanity or other permanent ailments do to the actions of there fellow players. Purple dice will not be permited on days ending in "why" and only red d6's can be used to confirm critical hits. Expect table variation and carry a big stick.

Again, we're sorrty for the inconvenient but we hope everyone will understand!

And, as always-don't forget to play! play! Play!

Are we not unveiling the new rule that "power gaming" and optimization count as an alignment infractions, and that it moves your characters 3 steps towards evil and cannot be fixed by an atonement spell?

They changed their minds because since all classes have a main stat or three, having anything above a 14 or 13 in them was argued "optimization" and therefore EVERY society character would become auto evil...

Screw it, we do so many things in real life that is considered power-gaming/optimization (from saving money to your payments, insurance, etc.) So under those rules, EVERYONE IS EVIL!

umm ... don't worry, be happy.. it'll allllllll be ooooookkkkkkkk

Luckily, I already scan all of my record sheets and then burn the paper copies. It's so much easier to just call them up on my tablet at need, and not have to carry all that paper around. With all the books on pdf, and a dice-rolling app, all I have to bring to games is the tablet! Though, I am still having trouble getting people to remember where my virtual miniature is on the map...

Egads, it's true, I can see the Pathfinder "Society" Guys, esq. are suffering the ill effects already!!

"there Chronicle Sheets"
"PlYAERS USing"
"Sorrty"
"Soceity"

Also, you forgot to tell us which Bestiary the dreaded Homophone is found in.

;)

Please also note that you CAN avert the ill effects if the sheets are only used in an inertia dampened summoning circle.

You're welcome for the tip.

It's in the Bestiary 5. Wasn't that common knowledge?

3/5

so wait a minute. we get to play them, as long as all of our chronicle sheets date april 8th or later? And we have to make our VC send us new ones?

MuHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA.

I've got to get all my character's chronicle sheets in order to send him. Time to cause some painful carpel tunnel.

4/5

No, your first chronicle sheet can't be dated later than April 8th 20143.

So you got about 18,000 years before you hit the deadline.

All I've learned from this is that it's time to start the Homophones in Golarion thread.

For anyone who is building a new pugwampi character, here are the stats for creation:

-----------------
-6 Str
+2 Dex
-2 Con
+2 Wis
-2 Cha

Pugwampis recieve Toughness and Weapon Finesse as bonus feats.
Pugwampis can see in the dark 120 ft, and have low-light vision.

Pugwampis have a +4 racial bonus to stealth
Pugwampis have a -4 racial penalty to sound-based Perception checks.

Pugwampis have the following ability:

Unluck Aura (Su)

A pugwampi radiates an aura of unluck to a radius of 20 feet. Any creature in this area must roll two d20s whenever a situation calls for a d20 roll (such as an attack roll, a skill check, or a saving throw) and must use the lower of the two results generated. This is a mind-affecting effect that does not work on animals, other gremlins, or gnolls. Any character who gains any sort of luck bonus (such as that granted by a luckstone or divine favor) is immune to the pugwampi unluck aura.

Hmmm...

If we're going to do an April Fool's joke, let's at least spell it right so we can believe it for about 10 seconds.

Like the whole joke about Paizo being bought by Hasbro, that for about 10 seconds looked totally more legit.

Grand Lodge 3/5

Oh! How unlucky!!!

Damn it, I want apple cider now...

Sovereign Court

'no later than 20143' means any time before is good.

Today is definitely before 20143.

So, pugwumpis all the way!

Oh sure...it's all fun and games until you get your first set of envelopes from your players!

*Stares at the pile in the corner of his office* ...well only one thing to do...

Except that part of the joke involves seplling mistaeks, so deliberately misspelling things is part of the joke.

On a related note, scientists have proven that a joke is 35.4% funnier once you explain it to someone.

Sadly, only 16% of the population knows that.

Here, critique my build! I even found the perfect picture for him! OH MY GOD THIS IS THE BEST DAY EVER

Dude, I buy dice all the time. My fiancé is even worse--she needs a new color-appropriate set for every character.

<sigh> I rarely get to buy new dice... My wife gets dice that she likes, and I get her hand-me-downs...

I've had one of my friends refuse to play using my dice because they weren't pretty enough...fortunately, she found her purple/pink glitter dice so she could play.

It's not like they were ugly, they were Crayola colors! (At least that's what I call them, the typical solid blue or green or yellow etc. colors)

They're pretty ugly. One at least needs proper speckling for aesthetic critical-rolling.

Grand Lodge 4/5

Heh. I bought some new dice the other day, just to use as GM dice for Shattered Star. One of my players tells me I rolled 11 20s during that session....

They were red and yellow, which is one reason I bought them...
