  1. Year in Review: Organized Play in 2021

Greetings, players! As we close out 2021, I wanted to share with you some of my favorite things: numbers and data! Let’s review some of the accomplishments and events of 2021, shall we?

  2. Tales of Lost Omens: A New Game of Drouge

“A new game?” Kesara asked, her old Vudrani hands already sweeping the drouge pieces off the embroidered cloth, milk-pale jade and black onyx figurines vanishing like magician’s coins between her bony fingers.

  3. Join the quest for suicide awareness and prevention at Rolling in the New Year!

Jasper’s Game Day is a non-profit organization that raises money for suicide prevention and awareness. They do this through RPGs such as Pathfinder and Starfinder. JGD strives to reduce the stigma around talking about mental health so the world can start to treat it just like physical health. But they are so much more than that: they are building a community of individuals that are unique and have a love for all things RPG. They combine the fun of Pathfinder and Starfinder with the quest toward suicide awareness and prevention, and it will an epic experience.

  4. Authors of Myth

Let these mythical creatures not be overshadowed! Our freelancers aren't monsters in any sense of the word, but according to the vernacular of today's internet, you could call them absolute beasts! While the writers of our Paizo products are always credited in the front and back of the books, a simple name in a byline doesn’t give readers much information on the people who work to bring the setting to life. Instead, I reached out to the authors with the intent of promoting them—as well as any other personal work they would like to show off, so that new fans could find other projects, RPG products, websites, livestreams, and more to enjoy! If there's a section in the book that you particularly liked, why not check out the author behind it today?

  6. Happy Holidays 2021 from Organized Play!

Greetings, friends, and happy holidays! Whether you celebrate Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, First Choices, Winterbloom, Festivus, or Christmas—whether your holidays are done for the year or just beginning—we hope you’re spending the close of the year surrounded by your chosen family, friends, and loved ones. Here at Organized Play, we’re hunkered down for the year. Linda has dug herself free of the sanctioning slush pile and dashed off into the woods; Mike is trying to put his gingerbread house back together after something shadowy smashed it to bits; Jessica has finally decrypted her holiday card list; and Thurston… well. Who knows what nonsense Thurston is cooking up these days. I myself will be spending the holidays curled up with my husband and a good book as I desperately try to complete my resolution of cutting down the pile of books on my bedside table.
